I bought this item and installed it because the microphone stopped working on my iPhone 7 Plus. After installing this item, the microphone still didn’t work. All settings have been checked (audio, microphone, etc) phone was reset to factory settings. Still no functioning microphone. I think my phone is just old and outdated lol ..so I can’t say for sure if this item worked or not. Definitely worth a try!

Works great - needs the stud bit to remove studs.The antenna and the speaker wire are identical. Be careful removing these and don’t force it on when reinstalling. I had to adjust and readjust and “feel” the snap for when it clips on. Such a pita but it can be done. So take your time and don’t rush b/c this can ruin the whole repair for a few weeks for new parts.Remember to remove the microphone plastic cover or people won’t hear anything when you talk. I had to go inside a second time to remove them 😂You need the stand-off screw driver - really it should be called a stud screw driver smh (coming from a mechanic background). Part # B09SS778ZG.I suggest you take pics and print it out and place your screws on those spots so you don’t misplace them.I got three extra screws and one stud as extras 😂. IDC my iPhone 7 is from 2013. The charging port was completely worn out. Saved me a grand plus for a new phone. I don’t like facial recognition. I’ll keep replacing batteries and using my ip7 till she dies.

I purchased this 10 days ago. It was relatively easy to install and fit well. It also charges appropriately on a *SLOW* charger.End of good part of review.So far I have ruined 3 charging cables connecting this to various rapid chargers. Almost immediately upon plugging it in, it starts smoking and the burning smell is quite evident.You may wonder why I am leaving a negative review without contacting them first???Valid question. I tried. I filled out their contact form EIGHT times. Each time I got back an error. I either received "Please fill out the Captcha correctly" or "Fill in all red fields." It was always the long problem description field wich was blanked, and I'm 100% certain that it was filled in upon submitting the form. This error only occurred a couple of times. The rest were invalid captcha. There is no way I entered a captcha field incorrectly that many times.After all that, I gave up and came here. Maybe they'll respond to this.I'll end with a copy/paste of the exact text I was submitting:This was easy to replace and fit well. However, it will burn my charging cable when plugged into a fast charger. It charges fine using a low-power slow charger. Almost immediatly upon connecting to a fast charger, you can smell the burning. So far, it has ruined three charging cables. Fortunately the phone appears to be fine, so far.This is now the EIGHT time I'm filling out this form. There is no way I have made this many errors in the captcha field!!!

The wife had a garbage phone and waited until the phone wouldn't charge anymore. She needed data and picts off the phone but it was DEAD. I was able to part install this to charge her phone long enough to get the data and picts off.

I had to take the part to a phone repair place that installed it. Very hard to do on your own.
