DewStop FS-325-W1 Adjustable Bathroom Fan Control with Humidity Sensor and Light Switch, White

The wiring diagram was wrong on the back of the unit, I had to get an electrician to realize the problem. FYI If the labels on the back are not right against the wires coming out, flip the sticker around. Now that the switch is correct, it works well.2 month update: Very happy with the product! Be sure you tune the DewStop to your normal room humidity so it comes on more accurately (just read the install manual). I didn't do this for a week or two, and the fan wasn't coming on until the end of my shower. Now, I set it correctly, and it works great!

We're currently living in an apartment while remodeling our house and the bathroom there has this switch. It works perfectly and fulfills CalGreen/Title-24 requirements for humidity sensor and fan timer, so I bought 3 new switches for the remodeled bathrooms in our house. Two of them have older Panasonic fans without the required sensors and even for the new one it is still cheaper to use the switch than add extra sensors.One caveat: When I showed the switch to my contractor, he told me he couldn't use it for one of the bathrooms because the fan there is mounted directly over the bath tub (only place it fits because of skylight and lighting fixtures) and by code the fan has to be on a GFI-protected circuit. He said as of 2015 electrical code, light circuits have to be on an Arc-fault protected circuit, too. As the switch has only a single set of supply wires, it can't be used as lighting and fan circuits can't share the same supply in this situation. I returned one of the switches without any hassles (thanks Amazon!) and bought a fan-only switch (FS-300-W1) instead. I'm sure it will work great, too.

I like this switch! The exhaust fan go on and off automatically pretty much just when you want it. The push button for the light works easily though not as easy as the traditional switch to operate. The installation was easy enough but the switch does not sit as far into the work box as the previous switch so the switch plate is now sitting about an eighth of an inch from the wall. From my point of view this is very efficient because the fan only runs when it needs to for humidity and is not blowing my climate controlled air out the vent when it does not need to.

Already bought one for my basement bathroom and it's really nice to have an all in one switch ( lgt/ fan/humidity detct and ctrl). It works really well and a guide install guide too. Only wish it had a dimmer for the lights. Other that..it's great. Just be careful to get the right model number be they don't all have the same functions..

I like the features/functionality. Sometimes it turns on at odd times, either it doesn't when you think it should, or it does when you think it shouldn't. But that is perhaps 5% of the time. Buttons could use a slightly more solid feel Wiring schematic is terrible and should be more clear.

I purchased this model rather than the lesser models due to the additional time and moisture level settings. So far the switch has been flawless. We were remodeling our bathroom so I had the ability to mount the switch higher on the wall than might be typical so that the moisture sensor would detect steam from the shower sooner to activate the vent fan in case I'd forgotten to manually turn it on before jumping in the shower. I am using it with a Panasonic FV-08WQ1 WhisperWall 70 CFM through-the-wall vent fan (which is VERY quiet, but that's another review). A small LED indicator light illuminates when the fan is running. The surrounding face plate has squared off edges but you can use a regular Decora-style face plate if you prefer to more closely match the others in your house.

I was looking for a combination timer for my bath fan and a light switch to fit in a single gang box. This was the only thing I could find. It does the job, But the fan does not come on while taking a shower as the bathroom fills with moisture and the mirror fogs up. When I adjust the sensitivity up the fan constantly goes on and off all day even if you don’t go into the bathroom. What I do like is the fan timer which I set for 30min and it shuts the fan off in 30 min.

Works great. Love the humidity sensitivity control. When set just right, the fan is off unless needed but comes on before you even see any steam in the room. No false starts. This control is pretty large ... goes deep into the back of the electric box.. If your electrical box has a bunch of other wire connections in it, you could have fitment problems.
