I used 100 Watt equivalent LED bulbs and hung 2 strings of these in the crawl space. Really made a difference. I would buy them again.

This is perfect for additional attic lighting. I paired it with a Dewenwils wireless outlet switch on Amazon and a 25ft extension cord to start it out and get it around to where I wanted. With 65w led floods it now lights up the whole attic easily and it’s just a click of the switch on the wall (see pics) to turn it off and on. Less than $100 total including bulbs compared to at least a few hundred for an electrician to come out and add lighting.

I needed to install some temporary lights in my attic during renovations and at first I contemplated making up a string of lights myself, but after pricing the cable, sockets and bulb-protectors, this Amazon item won the day.I was surprised at the quality of the cable and connections in this light string. There is a plug at one end and a receptacle on the other that has come in handy to plug in a drill or other tool without having to run an extension cord. The set I bought has 5 bulb sockets spaced about 10 feet apart.Each light fixture has a hole for easy hanging on a nail and the bulb cages (despite their flimsy look) have withstood numerous bangs and bumps without bending or allowing the bulb to break.You'll need to assemble the bulb cages for each light but they simple to install: just fold in half around the light bulb and click together. Bulbs are not included.I installed L.E.D. light bulbs that look just like an old fashioned incandescent bulb and they have been excellent in this application. They are bright plus they don't get hot. That took the worry out of having the temporary light string in the attic and allowed me to run down for a tool without feeling the need to unplug the light string every time.I hope my positive review does not result in a price increase for this handy and functional light string because I will certainly buy another set or two. Their usefulness and applications are many. Camping lights come to mind...Just buy this item. No worries. It was about half the cost of making up a set myself plus the connections and bulb sockets are first class!EDIT: I see that the price has increased $40 CDN since my last purchase!!! I was going to buy another set of these lights, BUT NOT AT THIS PRICE !!! Too bad sellers have to get greedy!

This was a great purchase for use to use during our reno!!Highly recommend this over stringing wire and then attaching a light socket and so on...Well worth the price and can now sell locally for a good price so it wont have cost us that much for a very convenient lighting option!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just installed these under our cottage. Got them in feb for $68.00 now 3 months later they are $98.00. Was going to order another set but now at this price

Great value but of the 4 sets ordered, 2 sets had one broken light basket on each string. We had to secure with fireproof tape. I would order again when I need more. They work well on my construction sites.

A good useful set of lights installed in our attic. The lights are of good quality and the cages are plastic and will not rust.
