Great paperback by Andrew Morton
Meghan's ancestry on Markle and Raglund sides of family. Almost too many names referred to. Would never keep them all straight.

Multiple Stages of Meghan Markle’s Life Featured
I admit that I do sometimes look at multiple article stories online pertaining to various people connected with royalty (Prince Harry, Prince William, Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle etc.) both as a writer and because of the sometimes compelling articles written online. This kindlebook that is Meghan; A Hollywood Princess by Andrew Morton tells multiple details of Meghan Markle’s life and how a multiple number of those experiences might have shaped her most recent years. Details are even included on Meghan Markle’s background, including her time at the Hollywood Little Red House School in Los Angeles, California and more. This kindlebook also sheds light on how Meghan Markle had to frequently and persistently go through multiple avenues for opportunity before she achieved fame and career success in Hollywood.

Save your money ... just more of the same
This book is well written, but appears to be a part of the same smear campaign written by other British authors, tabloids and news outlets. It’s just more of the same. I would not recommend this book. Only gave it three stars because it’s easy to read. This author has never spoken to Meghan personally, so has no way of knowing her side of events. The title pretty much tells the reader what to expect...

A ho hum read. Substitute any Hollywood starlet's name and persona and you get- Meghan!
Ms. Markle comes off as a smart, cunning, ambitious cookie, who parlayed limited acting chops & tons of social networking into a fortuitous romance with a pleasant, aimless, somewhat lost young man, who happens to be a prince. There is much in this book about her being a real foodie - do we really care that she never has a fridge without chia seed pudding in it? She will definitely run circles around hapless Harry. I do give her lots of brownie points for being a grand fashionista - the pretty Ms. Markle does have that down, as did Diana. I hope, though, that her life as a royal is a much happier one.

Highly Recommended Read
Highly recommended read, a page turner, with a refreshing inside view of her childhood and young adult life that shaped her into the lovely woman she has become. Her parents, although divorced, seem very nurturing and provided adventurous experiences, great education and a compassionate perspective. I enjoyed this over a rainy day weekend and especially like Andrew Morton's "friends of Pasadena" with all the little inside tid bits. His take on racism in America is spot on. One can only hope her position will open the minds and hearts of those who judge solely on race, but instead value a persons heart and actions. Meghan is a beautiful woman with a passionate purpose in life, hopefully inspiring others around the world.

Not full of revelations
If you are already well versed in Meghan Markle's story, then you likely won't find too much revelatory here. It is an interesting read if you are just learning about Meghan for the first time, but keep in mind that those who spoke to the author all had their own biases and agendas when telling their side of the story. I had to buy this book because I am a big Meghan Markle fan. Was slightly disappointed that that was not more there, but I will say, I'm happy to have a Meghan book in my collection. From that standpoint, you can't go wrong.

Sycophantic and gushing
This bio came out a month before the royal wedding but I only got around to reading it now because I'm curious about Megxit and what was really behind the Sussexes' decision to quit royal life less than two years after the wedding. This book doesn't really provide any real answers, since it reads as though it was written by a star-struck society reporter, repeatedly gushing about Meghan (to be fair, many of us were star-struck in the Spring of 2018, myself included, when we thought that a well-educated, articulate humanitarian would make a terrific addition to the Royal Family).I'm aware that Andrew Morton was probably not privy to what was going on behind the scenes, which would explain why he wrote that William and Kate welcomed Meghan into the fold (not true: as we've since learned, Kate was standoffish and William warned Harry that he was getting too serious, too quickly, which caused a rift leading to the total estrangement today). Still, a little less gushing and a little more objectivity would have made for a better book.

Interesting book about a polarizing figure
I found the book interesting with the author providing detail about the subject and letting the reader decide for him/herself about Meghan Markle. It gave a much more readable picture of Markle than either the Daily Mail tabloid ("Markle is an evil person and is out to destroy the royal family") or #SussexSquad/ Celebitchy website ("Meghan is perfect goddess and the royal family is out to destroy her"). I think Markle is a more complex person than either extreme gives her credit for being. And Morton has credibility as a royal writer due to his then-groundbreaking "Diana : Her True Story - In Her Own Words". The book is a "good read" to curl up with.

Nothing new
Andrew Morton has not added very much additional information and has not corrected any inaccuracies with regards to the lies that have been exposed since the Oprah interview. Writing is not compelling and seems to miss the mark with regards to Meghan's true character. It is a fluff read. I will wait for Tom Bower's book which will be a more accurate.

Wonderful read
There are too many stories out there about Meghan Markle, and depending on the news writer’s perspective, it truly is difficult to determine truth from fiction or exaggerated fact. With the powerful and influential extent of social media, fake news are rife. This book is well researched, objectively written and credible. Excellent.
