I use the tray mostly for crafting stuff. It stays in place very well, is a decent size for appropriate projects.

Spot on for using a laptop. No room for a mouse but other than that its ideal."Bean" filling makes a bit of a crinkling noise as if in a plastic carrier bag but not a problem once settled.
