Funtime Sideshow Popper 8-Ounce Hot Oil Popcorn Machine with Cart, Red/Gold

This popcorn machine is amazing! We needed a popcorn machine for our wedding and after talking to a few vendors about renting one, I started looking online to see if I could find a cheaper one for rent. I stumbled upon this beauty and since it was cheaper to buy this machine then rent it, I thought why not? It was pretty easy to put together since everything you need is included. I bought the packages that include the popcorn kernels, butter, and salt already packaged and making popcorn in this machine was a breeze! It survived our wedding and we have used it at least 5 more times for big events or parties and a few times a home. Everywhere we take it, people compliment us and I am very glad we purchased this. The design is awesome and gives you an old times feel. The materials aren't the strongest but it still holds up well, as long as you keep up with cleaning it after using it. If this thing ever bites the dust, I will definitely buy another. Highly recommend!

My family loves this item. I purchased this for my husband, he was thrilled. The black and silver is gorgeous, looks great in my living room which is red/black/yellow. The storage compartment is very nice, I have added a shelf to the lover portion to hold the popping oil. I suggest butter flavor Crisco as an option for the oil. This item makes great salted, butter popcorn; excellent Carmel corn and kettle corn. Flavors are easy to do, cleaning is a breeze. Thanks to Fed Ex I had several issues - 1st delivery arrived with the glass busted out; 2nd delivery they damaged the door. The company replaced the item quickly and new door was shipped right after I notified them. Friendly helpful staff for a great item. Everyone in my family has used the machine with great ease. The product is simple to use, simple to clean, works smoothly. I highly recommend this item.

This gift got the best reaction EVER from our child on Christmas morning. Our 10 year old can use, clean, and maintain it with minimal assistance. If you love great family experiences at home that will give lasting memories, this will do it! You can wheel in around or outside for entertaining. The smell of fresh popped corn will fill your home and drift to your neighbors.No complaints worth mentioning. Assembly had minor glitches but was easy overall.We still want to experiment with different popcorn varieties, flavors, toppings, etc. The Great Northern supply is tasty, but still not up to movie popcorn standards. It may be the toppings that make the real difference though.One big recommendation is that you buy a large popcorn scoop (funnel style WITH HOLES) to get the popcorn into the bags easily. And buy plenty of bags (disposable and reusable).The only thing I cannot verify is durability... only time will tell.

Our old popper finally died so we had to replace it. I went on the hunt for the 8 oz kettle since a lot of the home units are for 6 oz bags. What I didn't realize is that this unit is half the size of my other popper. The kettle is the same size but the interior of the actual unit and the storage space is very small. My advice would be to get the bigger one. That being said, it works just fine and the smaller size does tend to keep the popcorn warmer

This popcorn machine makes popcorn better than the movies. It will leave your house smelling amazing and the smiles on your kids faces priceless. We bought it for a party and it was a big hit.

I order this popcorn machine twice ! The first time it magically disappeared on 25 miles from away from being delivered to my home with no explanation of what happened. After already being inconvenienced the first time with no explanation, I had to reorder it. After waiting about 4 to 5 days to receive it, the popcorn machine showed up in a box that looked like it had been mahled by a pack of cougars, or wolverine from the X-Men had shredded it the pieces. Yet it was still delivered !? Almost seems like no one cares... Just when I thought it couldn't get worse, I started to bring the popcorn machine and off my porch and the bottom of the box was so far damaged that it started falling out. At that point I had to have a few other people help me bring it in where the machine didn't fall all over the ground. Upon bringing it in it had been noticed that the entire box and machine wreaked of marijuana. How thoughtful, considering it was intended to be used for a group of children & their movie night event. Since I figured we were already on a roll, I went ahead and inspector the condition of of the popcorn machine overall being that it was already hanging partially out of the box since there was more machine than there was box at this point. The axle that's used for the wheels was bent in two or three different directions. The welds all throughout the structure of the machines support was cracked with broken welds. The structured cabinet the machine sits on was all dented, bent and mangled in multiple different areas. Not to mention how dusty, greasy, and just super old all of the pieces looked. It almost looks like it had been sitting in a hole somewhere back on the corner where no one had touched it for years and it just got tossed around and banged up until someone came along to order one and then that's where my award-winning prize came in. What a great way to spend over $300 ! I can Only imagine what I would have came across if I would have continued going through the rest of the actual popcorn machine itself. But after all of that I was done, I didn't even want to mess with it anymore, I just wanted it out of my house, specially for the number one reason of it wreaking of marijuana.I would have preferred to have given this popcorn machine a negative star review, but unfortunately we as customers are only allowed to give it as little as one star which hardly seems fare.
