As soon as it came in and I began reading the information, it took a huge amount of stress off of my shoulders by helping me focus on what to study. I really love the sample study schedule and used it as a model for my busy life!

This study guide helped me pass the CCMA exam on the first try. Definitely recommend. A+

This book was an easy read, and had great practice tests to help prepare you for the”wording” of the test questions. I read this book intensely twice over 1 week to prepare. I have been an MA for almost 11 years and just now decided to take the AAMA exam, so I needed a lot of review since I’ve been in specialty for over 10 years and did not remember all general med information. I passed the exam, but I still felt like half of this information in this book wasn’t beneficial for the test, nor were the practice tests on the AAMA website. I feel like my work history helped me with about almost half of the exam. The biggest tips I can give to others who may be taking this test for the first time and not fresh out of school is: the importance of understanding the wording of the questions (which this book gives great examples of), and study even more medical terminology than the book provides. Recognizing a lot of root words will help with this exam A LOT!

Honestly one of the best purchases I have made. Goes over everything I remember in class. Since Covid I haven't been able to study as much as I worked a lot. This book is definitely helping to jog my memory and get me ready for my certification.

I think it is very helpful. I am glad that I ordered it. Together with the flashcards and recordings I created to listen to to study, I think I will be able to pass my CMA exam with confidence and a calm attitude.
