I live in an area with really hard water. This jug does a good job with the water - it makes undrinkable water palatable. Replacing the filter is easier than with a Brita, but it doesn't hold as much because the filter is under taking room from the storage area rather than the filling area. It flows through faster too, but I'm not sure if this is a good thing - there is less wait, but it could filter less efficiently. I bought these originally to fill a Brita Maxtra+, but they are completely different. It came with a free jug when I bought it, so I wasn't upset.

Been using Aqua Optima for several years now and the difference betwwn filtered and tap water becomes apparent when you make a cup of tea.

I've used Aqua Optima for a LONG time and was kinda miffed when it suddenly became Evolve+ because I thought they wouldn't fit my three existing water filter jugs. I contacted the company and they immediately put my mind at rest. They'd fit.My only gripe with Evolve+ is that I can't get my mitts on 60 day filters. I've a head like a sieve and even after setting alarms on calendars, etc, I STILL miss "change filter day". The thirty days seem to go in so QUICK.Still and all, I'll be using Aqua Optima in whatever form for the foreseeable future.
