Useful for fine detail sanding.
These are handy for sanding fine details on wood working projects, and more useful than I thought they would be. They are firm but not rigid, they can be used one handed, but clamping the workpiece allows holding them taught with two hands. This produces the best results.

Sanding sticks
These little sand paper sticks work well on small items. I'm a wood carver and I like them to get into creases. They have all different strengths in each pack.

Great for Miniatures
Saw these sanding sticks from a YouTuber. Wanted to try them out to help smooth out mold lines. I had to cut these to smaller lengths for easier use. while I like these a lot, but I wish they were labeled so we could know the grit of each stick

Miniature gaming
Really nice for sanding off mold lines and sprue burrs from plastic models. The black colored sticks specifically are a high grit and work great. Love how they're squishy and foam so they will conform to any surface you need on a model.

Important for hobbies.
Sanding twigs are great for anyone doing wood working on a mini scale. It easily gets into small spaces and with different grits can choose how much material I want to remove.

You don't know what you're getting, sticks are unmarked.
As the description states, no two packs are alike. That would be fine if there was some color code for the grit, like Micro-Mesh, but there is not, only some incomplete descriptions like black, white or gray can be anything between 80-240. For the most part you're on your own to figure out what grit you think it might be. Next time I'll pay more a pack that's organized. Will still keep them, as in some applications, the exact grit is not critical.

Long lasting
I use these on woodworking projects after cutting small designs out on my scroll saw. They seem to last a long time to me and a great assortment in this set.

A must for the hobbyist
I do a lot of lathe work with small items and trying to sand then can be difficult due to the sharp angles, small note etc... I originally tried emory boards but they don't really vary their grit and my wife wasn't a fan of my destroying her nail care things. I then tried gluing various grits of sandpaper to popsicle sticks, which does work to an extent but without the flexibility it just wasn't enough. Then I found these and decided to give them a try. These fill the gap that my homemade ones aren't able to finish and that's perfect.Having the various grits all jumbled in a small ziploc pouch makes it difficult to just grab what you need. I divided them all out by color and keep them separate so I'm not having to search for what I need and the grit is clearly visible. While not really designed for heavier sanding, they do nicely for those finishing touches you'll need from time to time in smaller/tight areas. I especially like them to clean up areas around where I have threaded a wooden piece. Clean, sharp threads allow for a smooth movement, that really helps finish a piece. If your needing something to do those finishing touches, these just might be what you're looking to grab.
