Another Side of Steve
Amazing story from Steve! He really goes in depth of what it took to make it big in the media industry, and I'm sure his story's inspired a lot of people to shoot for their dreams, even after constant failures. Overnight success doesn't exist, and he shows all of the years of hardship he had to go through to eventually make it where he is now. This book exceeded all of my expectations :)

dangle is a treasure as is this book
Wonderful book. Laughing and crying, sometimes in the same paragraph. If you are a fan of Steve’s this book is like a very quiet LFR. Tremendous heart, humor, pain, and joy.

Steve Dangle is Ruining My Life (But I Love Him)
If you were to tell me, that the dude who made a 17-second video back in 2007 would now have one of the top hockey followings and an extremely loyal fanbase, I would have laughed at you... a lot. But now, the "Rise of Steve Dangle" is in full force and the #DangleNavy is ready to raise some hell. While I have never been a Toronto Maple Leafs fan, I have been a fan of Steve since November 18th, 2014... the infamous 9-2 game. I was a teenager who was just trying to get his hockey fix instead of homework, and this video came across my recommended... and the rest they say is history. This is just another peak for the life of Steve Dangle. This is just an all around amazing book, one that I couldn't put down. And I know he wouldn't see this, but thank you. For the laughs, for the tears, for Hat Guy, and for the Podcast. A little slogan I say to my friends. That there are only three guarantees: Life, Liberty, and Steve Dangle yelling at a cameraThank you for everything Steve... go eat another pepper for charity#DangleNavy #ShutUpSteve

Thoughtful book
A very vulnerable telling of how Steve got into media. He recounts how his childhood, his parents, his sister, his friends, his schooling, and various other experiences have all lead to who he is as a man and where he is personally and professionally today. He is a gifted storyteller and you will not want to put this book down until you finish it. Each chapter is basically a self-contained story that fits within the timeline of the book. The last few chapters are shotgun stories that don’t necessarily fit in the timeline of the rest of the book, however. Either way, I really enjoyed reading his book and always enjoy watching his LFR videos on YouTube (and I’m not even a Leafs fan!).

Hugely relatable story about his professional struggles.
I was expecting a book all about his fandom and the Leafs, but instead it's more about his journey to working in hockey media and that turned out to be okay, because the book is hugely relatable. He goes through all his ups and downs, many of the same ups and downs we all go through our lives. And he's damn funny throughout the book.

Entertaining Read
Inspiring story written by someone who could be just like you. I really liked that Steve wrote this still as a young professional. This is not the biography of a successful retired sports journalist. This is the story of someone who has had some success early on but ultimately is still figuring out their own career.

good book to read even if you don't love hockey - if you're looking to get into media, read it
This is a great book to read about the journey that is life and making it. Whether you're a high school senior or in your 30s, read this book. You do not have to be into hockey to be into the journey of making your life work. Steve is pretty inspirational.

Wow, just wow!
I have watched Steve "Dangle" Glynn on YouTube for the last two years & I love his manic energy it never fails to make me laugh, so when I heard he had a book coming out I knew it was a must buy & boy was it worth it!From the very beginning when he speaks so openly & honestly about his family & sister who has cerebral palsy (which I have also) it made me cry it was like he was describing the first year of my life to the letter & for that I thank him. From the numerous humorous stories wether it be "stealing" his own couch to nearly being arrested twice, the hockey talk, his rise to being a prominent hockey youtuber to life's general highs & lows this book has it all & I would recommend it to hockey & non hockey fans alike you'll have a hoot.Take the plunge & buy this book, you won't regret it.

Did you know he wrote a book?
I have been a proud member of the #DangleNavy for several years now. Steve has been the... well, not steady... or calm... or rational... hmm.Steve has been the guy who helped me through crap like truculence, Nonis, that Toskala goal, "thank you Kessel", and that 9-2 Nashville game. I am unfamiliar with "it was 4-1", what are you talking about?Steve never comes across as egotistical in this book, even if you're not there to see him or want a picture. He's humble, honest, and just as astounded he's where he is today as I am for seeing "Screamy Dongle Guy" - my wife's nickname for him - on Sportsnet with Real Hockey Guys.Congrats on a great read and a hell of a journey, Steve. Can't wait to see where you go next.

It's Steve Dangle
If you're a fan of Steve Dangle you will thoroughly enjoy this book as it essentially tells the story of his life up to this point. I enjoyed the book my only critique is that the start drags and he maybe spends a bit too much time explaining his family background and his early adolescence. Many of the stories and moments are hilarious. I look forward to Steve writing another book on a topic he enjoys. I could see him making an entire trade tree book.If you're not a fan of Steve you will not enjoy it, and you will probably just be confused.

Funny and insightful
I’ve read a lot of books, some written by more experienced and recognized writers. However, this is the funniest book I’ve read. Really enjoyed it. Finished it in less than 2 days. Also, it’s always a plus when The Maple leafs biggest fan trashes them :).
