Joy to use.
I am very pleased that I bought this saw for a major hedge pruning task. Found them to be well made, very sharp (wear gloves) and ergonomically sound. Thoroughly recommended.

Costly but an excellent product
It is costly but an excellent product. Very sharp and makes quick work of chopping off tree branches - I used it on branches of various fruit trees (up to 100mm in the case of an apple tree) and it cut them fairly easily and quickly.

Great saw for the home gardener
Well balanced and VERY sharp hand saw. Great for those small to medium branches that you can handle as a hands on amateur gardener. Amazing quality and well worth the price.

Perfect saw, sheath bit plastic-y
Five stars for the saw - there are even better ones out there, usually more expensive, but this is a beauty. You barely wipe it against most small branches and they jump off. It's so sharp that sometimes I point it at a branch, and it just yelps and falls off.The only small let down-detail is the plastic sheath is well designed with safety catch at the tip, but catch itself is plastic and gets worn down, eventually making a loose connection & the saw falls out easily - this does not matter to me unless I want to climb with it attached to my hip.

Easy to use
I bought this last year (when it was a bit cheaper) for cutting up a huge pile of cut branches left by the previous owners. The saw made short work of them and I went on to use it to cut back thick laurel, hazel and other overgrown saplings in our neglected garden. I find it quick and convenient, especially in hard-to-reach spots. I'm a woman in my seventies, just over five feet tall and the tangle of woody undergrowth is a challenge which I find easier to tackle with this saw. Any much bigger cutting tool is difficult to control as both weight and size are an issue at my height. I wish more equipment was available to suit smaller gardeners and d-i-yers!
