The appearance is perfect. You barely see it unless you are looking directly at it. Super cheap and does the job. I’ll have to get used to having it on the door lol but so far so good!

These have been great for our bifold doors on our pantry. They slip on easily, and have kept our little guy out! They are made out of a sturdy acrylic material, with an acrylic stick that fits through a hole in the center that functions as a handle. It did come with an adjuster if the door had been slimmer. After having the stick handles inserted for two weeks, we decided to remove them as they did not feel very stable. We felt that they were going to snap. And they still function the same without them. My first two photos are them installed. My third photo is of one installed and me pulling on the handle. You can see that there is still a minor gap but it isn’t enough for me to pinch my finger.

It’s very easy to install and use. Our cat kept opening the door and getting into stuff he shouldn’t so I order this. Now we don’t have to worry about it anymore! All he does is sit outside the door and yell because he can’t get in.

This is my third purchase of Mommy's Helper Slide-Lock for Bi-Fold doors. This will be used on a fourth pair of bi-fold closet doors. Two of the bi-fold doors no longer closed properly and it solved the problem. They are great for locking and to still have easy access to the closet. Very easily installed. Since this is my third purchase, it's obvious how much Ilike them.

We were having so many issues with our son getting into closets (especially our pantry) and throwing everything on the floor. This keeps him out. I don’t have to stand guard anymore.

I got these because of my cats. Whenever their toys roll under the door they would try to retrieve them causing the closet doors to open. After I installed these, which was so simple to do, the closet doors haven’t been opened by my cats again.

The media could not be loaded.  I believe myself to have standard closet doors and this product fits on a bit snug. It does its job of keeping the closet "locked", but has peeled off a bit of paint in the process. I have to rock it up and down before getting it to move, because it's so snug. Despite all that, I'm happy with it. So far it's kept my 1 year old securely out of my craft closet.

We took the closets down and installed hasps with a small lock.Ten we found this device!!It doesn't work so well on doors that are only1/2 thick; even the shim doesn't help very much.

Bought this after reading someone used it to prevent their cats to open the doors !! Well it works very well !It been a while I have then and they do what they are supposed and they are not that apparent .The little stick might be too short for my kid to reach but he will grow up fast enough so should not be an issueRecommended buy !

Was skeptical at first but it really did work. I used it to keep the cats from being able to open up certain doors but same principle!

We have three bifold doors, two cats, and one problem. I bought one of these to lock the pantry door, because the cats try to get in there all the time to get to their food. It works great! Doesn't mark or damage the doors, very easy to install and use, fits perfectly, and is unobtrusive. Well, the little fuzzballs immediately abandoned the pantry door for the two doors to the main closet, so I bought two more of these the next day. We'll see what they pick next, but for now, problem solved at a very reasonable price.
