I had a tummy tuck and liposuction and was only given an abdominal binder. This garment compresses everything in and I feel as snug as a bug in a rug. It’s a tight fit but isn’t it supposed to be? I wear XL and bought an X-LARGE because I wanted it to fit over my rear end and my thighs. I didn’t need to worry about it being too big bc it’s just right. You should buy this if you want supportive and firm compression and a shapely body.If you have a short torso like me just flip the top band down or pull it over your bosom bc it’s still worth it.

This garment is very stiff compression for use after cosmetic belly surgery or for anyone who wants more compression for that special dress. I am only 5 ft tall, and these garments do not come in a petite option, so the length of the garment is too long for me, resulting in an uneven fit. Also, it has a side zipper with hooks. the fit is very very tight as you get it on, so you have to hook the strong but tiny hooks one step ahead of your zipper pull. Hook, Pull zipper an inch or two, Hook, and pull. The zipper pull is small so it is hard to grip. Once you get it on, it's quite comfy except for the stiffness on the zipper. Then, when you have to use the toilet, there are snaps at the crotch... very difficult to open and close. Marena makes a knee length body suit. It is so much easier to wear and use the body suit with its open crotch and high back so that the straps don't slide. You wear your own bra under it. So I rarely use this brief style compression garment, choosing the body suit instead.

Good quality, great compression but I agree with the other reviews that it is made for those with a long torso. I'm 5'3" and the top band ended up too high. I also found the top around the rib cage tight but the lower ab just right and I really needed more compression on the lower ab as post-op lipo to prevent swelling and mold better. I tried using an extender to adjust the upper portion but it didn't fit too well.

I had tummy tuck and its very good for recovery. just like the one the doctor gave me. they are very hard to find.
