TaosWomen's Cutie Ankle Boot

These are probably the most beautiful boots I've ever purchased. Simply a stunning golden honey color. Plus, they appear to be extremely well made. The side zipper is a great idea. It's clear why they are so pricey, as the worksmanship is top notch. Alas, they just didn't fit my foot correctly. My normal street shoe is a size 9/9.5, and I ordered these in a 10 - 10.5. The length was correct, but the boot was a tad bit narrow, snug over the top of my foot and very stiff. And that was when I was wearing my thinnest socks. My feet started to fall asleep when I was sitting down while wearing them. If your feet are a bit on the wider side and/or have high arches (both of these are true in my case), these are probably not the boots for you. If your feet do not have these issues, I would recommend trying them. They really are beautiful.

Pros: Super cute, comfortable, does well in rain, good traction on the bottom, sturdyCons: Very heavy (somewhat of a pro though, I know my feet won't be getting hurt anytime soon), just a tiny bit large. I got an 8. If you're like me and you get shoes within a half size usually, go with your smaller size. Like I usually run between 7.5-8 depending on the shoe, and I wish I had gotten a 7.5 instead of an 8.Overall, amazing boots, love them. I've worn them everyday since getting them!

I bought these a few months ago, but had to stretch out one of the boots where it hits near the base of my toes, because I broke my foot years ago and have a spur there. After stretching, I wore them a few days this week around the house and they felt good. They were stiff at first, but after wearing for a few hours, they softened a bit. Wore them today to walk the dogs on a short walk, because it's bloody cold out, but my feet felt great. Having decent arch support, that hits in the correct spot, is so hard for me to find in shoes. Another problem I have is that a lot of boots are too wide for my feet. My feet are on the narrow side, but I typically don't wear narrow. These boots fit my feet like a glove.I can't even speak to how they run as far as size goes, because I have shoes in the following sizes: 7.5, 8, 8.5 and 9. Planning on buying a pair in black.

I really like these boots. I have a high arch so the zipper and laces allow me to gain enough space to slide my foot in snuggly. The color is rich and attractive. My only disappointment is the leather is very stiff. I am sure it will soften with age and wear but that will take time given the current condition. I would have preferred a slightly softer leather.

Really love these boots!!! Had to trade them back in for another color because I didn’t realize I had the same exact color from last year. The gray is absolutely stunning. They are comfortable and def true to size. If you like really thick socks to wear w it order size up. Otherwise it does fit to size.Also, I know it’s mad crazy to pay this. But I have found if you’re willing to spend a little extra for comfort. The quality is always there. I have two Clark’s and now two Taos and terrible rheumatoid arthritis feet . The Clark’s I’ve have for at least 4 years now. They look just as good now then when I first got them. The Taos I’ve had a short time. But I love them!

Beautiful boot, although the color is more brown than golden. I even checked the number on the boot to make sure I wasn't sent the wrong color....All images I saw of this color were a golden honey color. I was slightly disappointed, because I wanted a lighter colored boot, but decided to keep them anyway, because they're comfortable and look nice.

Love the color. The side zip means never having to tie the boots. And the comfort of these shoes is outstanding. I didn’t want to take them off they were so cozy.

They are super-cute! BUT! The left boot broke across my toes the first time I wore them. After trying them around the house for a couple of days, I knew they were going to be too uncomfortable to keep.
