BF 109 Late Versions: Camouflage and Markings (White Series)

This book shows not only three profile views of both the G, and K model, but various profile color schemes as well. I love the fact there's a paint color guide, in the book, showing the name along with the color. Some books only give a name.Highly recommend for model builders, and future Bf-109 restoration projects.

Highly recommended for all fans of late Luftwaffe aircraft and, of course, the Me-109. The book is very well illustrated showing various profiles for all the latter versions of this aircraft and giving descriptions of the colors used. The only problem now is that I gotta get myself one of Revell's or Trumpeter's 1/32 scale kits to try my hand in one of those late color schemes!

The book is very good. The author clears up a lot of the confusion of late model BF-109G's. Plus review the BF109K's also in the book. If your a modeler one can now build a BF109's based on what factory reworked the aircraft. Addition information on all the different Tall tail rudder and there variants. This surprise on now any different styles of rudder. A must of a serious BF109 modeler of historian.

Lots of terrific artwork and info. Most interesting to me were details of camouflage scheme and airframe differences between factories.

All I can say is that this book is a model of historical aviation writing and illustration. The other reviewers are all right on the money. I will add that it is magnificent show of the many changes and variations that came to Bf 109 finishes as paint, time and resources ran out.

If you are looking for a comprehensive detailing reference for your late 109 model, look no further. Thoroughly exhaustive on the sub variations and camouflage by manufacturer. Beautiful profiles, and lots of them. Highly recommended as an essential reference.

This is a great resource for the modeler or history buff. The drawings and colors are accurate and the detail is terrific. I highly recommend this book ot anyone working with the late versions of the Bf 109.

Amazing amount of information for model kit building, kit bashing, and painting. Essential for me for building and painting. Extremely highly recommended.

The MOST useful book one could buy if you like myself models late war 109's and tbh I really think my aircraft look far more accurate thanks to the brilliant colour plates !! Sooooo yes a must have and look forward to more from this series and author.

A fantastic resource on late war Bf 109s. The quality of the drawings is excellent and the technical content is detailed and well presented. The only downside is you will run out of shelf space trying to build models of all the fascinating aircraft shown in the book! Highly recommended!
