This kit has worked wonders for me. High quality hose and all you need in fittings to install.
My 1997 Dodge 2500 Cummins has been having problems. It will start just fine, but soon after sputter and almost die. I had been to this movie before. That is a sure sign of air getting into the fuel lines and, over a few hours, the fuel in the lines drain back into the tank. I have fixed this problem twice before with much lesser quality fuel lines purchased from local auto shops. To be absolutely honest, I never saw a difference in the performance, but it always fixed the sputtering issue for a while. The first time lasted about a year with very cheap hose. The second time lasted over two years with more expensive hose. After looking at this hose and installing, I have a very good feeling this may last much, much longer. So my advice to anyone with a cummins would be to start off with this kit. The price is high, but if you price this hose alone, you will see why. Since install, which has been almost two months now, the performance has greatly improved. It has noticeably more power now and much smoother running. Have had zero problems with the sputtering since. The only two complaints I have don't have anything to do with the kit. Getting those two connections off the tank took the first two hours of installation. Terrible. Wound up just cutting the lines and then taking side cutters and clipping away at the connections until it finally fell off. Just. Terrible. And they didn't leave much room on the inlets to attach the hose with a clamp, but there is enough. So far holding well there with no leaks. The second problem was trying to get the adapter to point to the tank for the 3/8" barb connection installed on the inlet of the lift pump so you can just run the line straight from the tank to the lift pump in a straight line (most people use an inline strainer there, too). I cranked it down and it wound up around eleven o'clock position and that was as far as I could go. Wound up having to make a loop with the 3/8" to the barb. Working well.I had about 2 feet left over of the 3/8" and just over a foot on the 5/16" and mine is the extended cab 2500.Highly recommend. Every Cummins I have owned has had the same fuel line problems. One of the very few bad points of the trucks. Instead of band-aid fixes like I had been doing, I wish I would have done this from the very start and hopefully be done with it. Very happy with it so far.Hope this helps someone.

Good but just could use one more part.
Good kit comes with almost everything you need, but for what it cost, it really should come with the elbow piece that goes from the pre filter to the lift pump. Everything thing else is great. I just bypassed the fuelheater/ prefilter and added an 3/8ths inline filter. Works good so far
