I'm still in shock.I got this hair... it's wasn't low end, like BSS, but it wasn't high end... it was somewhere in the middle. About $45 a pack. It was great for a month and a half, but then it started getting stiff and bunching. The tangles were always easy to get out, but it was a constant battle to keep it tangle-free, and I hated the stiffness.It was time to get it redone, so I took it out. I heard about the bleach bath, so decided I would try to revive it and use it again. But I don't think I left it in the bleach long enough. Unfortunately, I did this right before my appointment (went with the hair wet, LOL) so I didn't realize til it was back in my head that the hair was still stiff and also seemed to have product buildup. So, my options were to take it out and have her put in some new hair or try this. So, I decided to give it a try.My first step was to clarify the hair with Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo. I had to do like 3 washes to get it to suds up. Then I washed it with the Silicon Mix Shampoo once. Next, I put the Silicon Mix condition in and combed it through. I sat under the dryer for about 40 minutes with it covered in plastic. It was late so air drying wasn't an option. I sat under the dryer for about 40 minutes, which got it mostly dry. I was worried about this because most advice tells you to air dry the hair and that this is critical.When I got from under the dryer I was AMAZED at the results. It was so soft, light and bouncy. It was basically like it was when I first got it. Based on the way it was before, I couldn't believe it was possible for it to be restored to their level. I am so happy I don't need to pay for some more hair and then pay for my stylist to remove and reinstall. This is a miracle product!EDIT: I noticed this also worked miracles for my natural hair. After washing, I just twisted up my leave out and let it dry. Then, I used a flat iron without even blowdrying it first, and I could already tell the difference in how straight and shiny it was. For the two weeks until I washed it, I barely had to touch it up. It stayed straight and shiny. There was a true difference with how my hair straightened and remained straightened than with any other product I've used.
