Heavy & Solid, excellent for the price point
So a lot of reviews have complained about the knife getting stuck open and being unable to close it, that's just people who have no idea what they are doing. It's a liner lock, and it's a good liner lock, but if you flick the knife open it's gonna have some sticking issues at first, THAT'S OK! Pull back on the spine of the blade a bit and with your other hand depress the liner lock, should shut very easily now. I've been flicking my knife open a bunch since I figured this out, and I have gotten it to the point where it just doesn't stick anymore, I guess I wore down any rough edges on the lock. Play with it, get to know it, if you absolutely need to put the knife on a flat surface and push down on the lock against that, but a simple pinch with your thumb and forefinger along the spine and you should release any pressure on the lock. That concern addressed, for a knife that comes in around 20 dollars or so, it's pretty nice. Yes, it doesn't have high quality finish, the holes that they drilled out are rough, the tip of the knife passes through the lanyard hole, the lock sticks at first, but for the money who cares? This is a big solid knife that looks very intimidating, opens with a very satisfying click, and if it gets destroyed or lost, you can replace it easily enough.Check your local knife laws too, this blade comes in a little over 4 inches which may not be legal in your area. Granted someone has to actually check pretty closely to see it, but use some discretion.

cool and practical knife
it's very cool looking and practical knife. well balanced and affordableit is very solid knife with good balance for a good priceI love how it opens. it's very satisfying to open this knife with flick of wristfirst I bought it because it was cool looking knife tht seemed to have solid construction, but upon usage i've found this knife very practical in everyday household usage.it opens boxes much easier then any other knife, also the kukri shape makes it ideal for gardening usage as wellI like how I can open this knife with one hand that helps with daily craft / chores around the house when one of my hands are full.Kukri shape really gives good leverage so it does slice with much less effort when used correctlylooks like it could be a good throwing knife too but I haven't try that yeti'll say it againthis knife is very satisfying to flick openif you need one cool knife you can actually use this is one to goI love Boker how they keep exceptional quality control even in affordable priced knives.not good for edc imoi forgot if it came with the clip or not, but i dont use clip on mine and leave it always around my desk in my arms reach

Great "little" knife for the money
Great "little" knife for the money. Made out of a good blade steel, and durable design. Great for bushcraft or outdoors use. Not a good carry knife by any means. Far too large, and no pocket clip. Blade came with a decent edge. Enough to cut paper but not nearly as sharp as some other knives ive bought in the same price range. Not shaving sharp but its close enough that with a little bit of a touch up on a sharpening stone im certain you could get it to bee that sharp. The grind on the knife is excellent, the knife feels great in hand and is very well balanced making it feel light in your hand for such a large blade. The knife's edge however is slightly not straight along the length of the blade, only a minor issue that could be fixed in sharpening. All in all a great knife for the money.Pros:hard to get more bang for the buck as far as knife length and quality.Beautiful kukri inspired design that makes a unique knife for any collection.Lightweight and well balanced for its size.Sturdy Low maintenance design.Flickable opening. Meaning you can open it with a flick of your wrist.Cons:Could have been sharper.Edge could have been straigher, and more evenly sharpened along the length of the blade. (some spots sharper then others)No thumb stud for easy one handed opening. (this is made up for by being so easy to flick open)Could have come with a pocket clip. But not many people would carry a knife this big anyway. All in all its a great knife for camping, bushcraft, or similar usage. You could use it to chop down saplings in the forest or clear away a path.Easy to take with you camping due to the folding design but would be better if it had a pocket clip or sheath to store it in.I would easily recommend this to anyone looking for a low cost knife.

Overview of a Beautiful Monster
A great conversation piece, and an overall good knife. Good blade steel, G-10 handle scales, sturdy construction, good lock up, no blade play. The only con I could see is the lack of a pocket clip, but this bad boy is to big to carry for day to day stuff. It makes a great camp tool, between the solidity of the build, and the fact that the handle is designed so that the hand can be moved farther from the blade for chopping, it could take on light hatchet roles or bushwhacking. This comes sharp and with the intimidating size of the blade, it could be used as a great self defense weapon or threat deterrent. It looks very intimidating in hand and the heft of the blade gives the user confidence in whatever task the blade has to complete.

Better than I expected
Very pleasantly surprised at the guality of material and construction of this knife. 440 stainless and g10 scales, this well mated, are a winning combination. Excellent balance as well. Price point is excellent.

Decent
I like this product as it was a bigger pocket knife however out of the box this booger is stiff as a dead tree but lube it and it loosens up some the reason I gave it 3 stars was simply because the screws on mine came out and even though I put hd loctite on them the last one at the end of the handle stripped out and then fell out so now I get to find a replacement that I have to cut down to fit also the blade is decently sharp out of the box but I can tell you now mine would not take the edge sharpness I was used to but hey if a beater knife is what you want this is it just make sure you located titer the screws in and on

Buena navaja
