Great Beginner's Guide on LLC
This book is a great beginners guide, very easy to understand and well written. I really like that the author included the disadvantages as well as the advantages of turning your company into an LLC. I really like information that give me the good and the bad before I make any decision and this book surely open my eyes to some things I didn’t know that could of potentially hurt me in the long run. Currently I am doing business as sole proprietor with a business partner and was contemplating of transferring the business to an LLC. This book gave me a lot of confidence moving forward with what to do next.

Good book! Ever since
As someone interested in creating my own business, I wasn’t sure which type to start, as I am debating between a corporation and an LLC. After reading this book, I’ve definitely gained a lot of knowledge on what an LLC is and how it operates. For the most part, this book loads you with information on advantages/disadvantages of an LLC, legal practices, comparing it to other business types, how to handle your taxes and much more. It even talks about the smaller things like how to manage your LLC, taking risks, and manager responsibilities. Overall, I found this book very helpful and it will definitely contribute to the decision I make in which type of business I chose to start.

2016 information (copyright) so not sure how relevant it is, but...
I have been wanting to know more about LLCs for a long time and decided to try a cheaper Kindle book to start out with. The legal world changes a lot over time, so the 2016 copyright makes it undependable for now, but there is still a lot of great info on how LLCs work. Glad I bought it to browse through first.

Overall good info but very basic
This is an easy read, it covers the main parts of an LLC that you should consider and understand. I found it to be limited in scope. Most of the information in this book is online for free. The items you'll want more information on like "registered agent" and "accounting" really aren't covered in here. I bought their other book on taxes for LLCs and can't say I see much value in it. They more or less push you towards getting a lawyer to draw up documents, an accountant to run the books and a tax professional to handle your taxes. I was hoping for a more DIY approach.

Good book! Ever since
They could have had their assets protected if they formed a corporation rather than an LLC, but all three of them find it much more simple to use their individual income tax forms to report their business incomes. With a corporation, they’d have to worry about splitting up their income from the business between what’s paid to them as a salary and what’s paid to the corporation as profit. If things change down the road and the LLC is generating income at levels that far exceed what the owners need to take home, then they can do the smart thing, change their LLC into a corporation.

This book is a quick and concise guide that explains the ins and outs of starting and running and LLC .. I myself will be soon starting my own business so I bought this book to help me see clearly which path to take. It definitely opened my eyes to the pros and cons of starting a Limited Liability company, and I've actually decided to hold off on creating an LLC now until I get revenue coming in on a higher level. This decision is based on the information provided in this book.
