Really NIce Coffee Grinder
I've ground two bags of beans so far with it. This is a very well made any well functioning grinder. I've had several in the past. This is the best so far. Very sturdy and solid. Sharp steel burr grinder wheels. Controls feel great. Grind is consistent with indicator. Ground coffee doesn't spray all over the counter when it's grinding like previous grinders. It's also very quiet compared to my previous grinder. A great product.

Bound Up On First Grind
Received the grinder yesterday, unpacked it and washed all appropriate parts. Today, followed all instruction and upon the very first attempt to grind beans, the machine froze and bound up after just a few seconds. Had to take it apart and clean it. Attempted a second time, with the same results. Tried it a third time with less beans, hoping that would make a difference, unfortunately it didn't. Cleaned everything up , boxed it back up, got on Amazon and requested a refund. I would avoid this grinder.

good mid range burr grinder
I have purchased a couple of lower priced burr grinders in the past and hoped to go up a level with this purchase. I am overall pleased with this purchase so I gave it a 4 star rating. Below are my pros and cons with this product. My review is written after I have ground an accumulative 6 pounds of beans.PROs:Easy to clean. It disassembles nicely to clean.Quieter grinding than models costing less.Simple controlsCompact design to store easilyCONsThe "Extra 12 month warranty" does not apply. The website listed on the card in the box is invalid. The opening for discharge of grounds into the receptacle is pretty small requiring attention.Currently, I am happy with this purchase.

It's just bad
The grind option on the side doesn't do anything. Turning it to the finest setting results in the same mixture of chunks and powdered beans as the coarsest setting does. I may just be smelling the electric motor, but there was a slight burning smell each time I used it too. I spent over $70 expecting an entry level burr grinder, but a cheap food processor would probably give me more control over the grind. It seems that the base price was dropped to $62 and then put on sale at $50. Still not worth it. You could get a hammer and plastic bag that would work even better and then have some money left over.

Hopper is not well designed and this will not work with dark roast beans
This product didn’t work for us as we use dark coffee beans and we can’t use it for that. I tried it in med roast but the beans were getting stuck in the hopper and shot the grounds everywhere.

Lasted Six Weeks
Brand new it was loud and slow, but at least it worked. It now no longer works at all. I tried cleaning out by blowing air through the blades. This item should have lasted more than six weeks and only a handful of uses.

Messy, inefficient
The port between the grinding chamber and the dump container is way too small, and must be cleaned between every cycle. Even so, a couple of minutes of noisy grinding only yields a tablespoon (or two) of ground coffee. We bought this when Costco removed their grinders thinking it would work better than our old Krups mill. You could spend an hour doing what the Krups does in minutes, and another hour cleaning the mess.Save your money and look elsewhere.
