I have purchased these towels for our annual trip to Hattaras Island. They are lightweight and have no "pile" so they should pack up in less room than "traditional" beach towels. I actually haven't been able to test absorbancy or how rapidly they dry but i know in terms of physics that if a cloth is denser then ot takes longer to dry.I have washed the towels 3 times to make sure any sizing that has been in the fabric is completely removed. The towels were inpressive in their texture before washing them. After being washed the texture of the warp and weft are both even softer and slightly fuzzy. They feel substantial enough to drape across legs or torso to protect againt. I have purchased the 6 pack of mixed colors and an additional three. The idea is to have one for being on the beach, one for the outdoor shower so that we can cover up after a rinse in the outdoor shower to remove sand from ourselves anf our swimsuits so that the sand doesn't end up in the plumbing.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is a little stiff but softens more and more as I wash it. Because it is thin, it travels well. I’ve used it as a beach towel, shawl and blanket. It dries quickly, packs small, and the white goes with everything.

These towels are everything the seller said they'd be -- soft, absorbent, lightweight. What I didn't expect is that they would dry my freshly-washed hair faster and better than microfiber towels ever have. I didn't anticipate that the colors would be this beautiful, or that everybody in my extended family would fall in love with them, and ask for their own sets in every color. Those who've taken them to the beach rave about how easy it is to shake sand out of them, and wash them after. Absolute must have.

We use these towels everywhere - boating, traveling, swimming. They are fantastic - soft and absorbent. They are also lightweight and work/look great as a pashmina. Some people seek more weight but i prefer them to pack small. bought 3 already and am making it my go-to summer gift, quite unique and a true delighter. I tried other turkish towels from Amazon thinking that more expensive might mean better. Nope. Also, i washed them multiple times and tumble dried - no shrinkage. Great great find. I recommend buying a multipack. Just cant beat the price.

Used this on a recent beach trip to test out and I'm ordering more asap. Sand did NOT stick to it at all, even laying directly on the sand and being damp, the sand fell right off. A friend traveling with us already put an order in for a 6 pack. Also works fantastic as a light weight blanket. I used it all week for a beach vacation.

I bought two of these towels to use as lightweight throws for my three seasons porch. I had a Sand Cloud one that I was trying to match for our porch’s look. This navy one does closely resemble the look of the navy striped Sand Cloud.In comparison to Sand Cloud, this one is a third of the price and you can tell by its quality. It’s very thin and lightweight. Since I’m not using them as towels, they’re good enough for chilly days on the porch.

These are everything they advertise and more. Super lightweight to pack for our trip to Puerto Rico. We would soak them in the pool and lay them on our lounger to cool down. They dry super fast! We like them so much we bought a set for my daughter-in-law for her birthday!

I was a little hesitant after reading some of the reviews but this towel is just as it states. The colour is nice and vibrant and it does the job. Dries your body quickly and it dries itself quickly as well. I will be buying more of these.

This beach towel is the best one I've ever owned. It came in so handy for the Beach, the pool, and to use as a swimsuit cover-up. You can even use it as a lightweight blanket on cooler evenings. Colours look great!
