Painting fish!
My daughter wanted to repair and repaint a 9 lb Bass I caught 35 years ago. I purchased the airbrush for this purpose. She has been extremely satisfied with the gun!

The unit arrived with one of the rubber feet broken off out of the box. The small blue green air line shown will not seal on one end despite use of teflon tape. This unit could not possibly have worked prior to shipping and whoever put the thing i e box in that China knew damn well it was broken. The pump does turn on and pump air but until I can get an air hose hof such odd size that does not leak the unit is just another paperweight from Amazon.

Pretty Decent Kit, All Save for the Main Attraction
I purchased this kit as a newbie. I'd done some airbrushing in the past, but sufficient time had passed to pretty much wipe all of that muscle memory from my system. I took a chance after looking at some of the reviews and bought this one.The verdict: The paint is okay. The compressor is pretty nice. The hose is very nice. And the airbrush itself is pure garbage.AIRBRUSH: (1/5)The airbrush had a leak right off the bat. Air would leak around the button, causing the compressor to run nearly full-time, which isn't good for a compressor. If the hose was screwed on all the way, then for whatever reason, it reduced the airflow, causing there to not be enough of a vacuum to suck up the paint from the jar. It was a bit frustrating, but after getting the hose in JUST ENOUGH to get paint flowing and running in short bursts to keep the compressor in a decent state, the paint would only come out in a large spray (a bit smaller than a spray paint can), and all vacuum would be lost if the button was released, so I had to hold down the button for about a second after release to get any paint to spray. It was frustrating as all heck and made painting unpleasant at best. I turned around and bought one of these, which turned out to be easily 10x better: NEO CN Gravity Feed Dual Action AirbrushHOSE: (5/5)The hose is quite nice. I like how it doesn't kink (due to the braiding), is a good length, and has no leaks. It's a hose, and it does it's job. Not sure what else there is to say. The color is nice, I guess?COMPRESSOR: (4/5)The compressor seems to be pretty consistent. The pressure chamber is a bit small, so it doesn't hold much air at any given time, meaning the compressor is going to be running a fair deal. It's a bit on the loud side, and it does seem to be somewhat unbalanced (wiggles a lot), but the regulator is easy to set, has it's own pressure meter, and hasn't given me any issues.PAINT: (3/5)The paint is okay. It's not the greatest paint, but I've worked with worse (though not in airbrushing, as again, I'm "new" to airbrushing). The end finish feels a little on the cheap side, but it was basically thrown in for free, so I'm not complaining much.CONCLUSION:+ Pretty nice braided hose+ Compressor gets the job done with little fuss+ Probably one of the cheapest full kits around+ Comes with two jars, which is nice for storing/swapping paint- The airbrush leaked like crazy- The airbrush's spray pattern is quite large- The airbrush is only slightly better than filling your mouth with paint and spitting on your piece- The airbrush- Seriously, this is like going to a concert for your favorite band and while the opening acts may be pretty good, the headliner's singer stumbles out drunk, belts out like three songs, and then falls off the stage

Compressor much better than airbrush...
I originally purchased a Badger Airbrush kit which I liked, but the canister compressed air didn't last long at all!!! I quickly realized I was going to need an air compressor, and that is why I chose PointZero.......primarily for the compressor. It's a great little set up - the compressor is perfect for my needs although it makes some noise....I just turn my radio up! I don't like the Airbrush that came with the compressor.....it doesn't stay "locked" in place very well while I'm spraying and I'm constantly stopping to lock it again, and again. Instructions for the air gun read as if written by someone with a poor understanding of the English language. The great news is I was able to hook my Badger air brush up to this compressor and now I'm a happy girl!
