Age appropriate
Perfect teaching tool as the kids start listening and learning about human development. Information in the book is simple and easy to follow. It provides good information geared at a younger audience

Simple science kit, nothing new for older kids
I have 6 kids aged 5 to 13. My older kids did this with my 5 year old son and 6 year old daughter. This kit comes with everything you need to complete the activities suggested. In the past we've found kits that after opening have a huge list of things you have to find in your kitchen, garage, or local store. This was a very nice and appreciated change. Also impressive was that they were able to do it without any imput from me, and the youngers were able to answer questions about what they had learned after. Yes!The kit comes with a clear and entertaining book (not booklet, book!) of explanations for each activity. The first half is a story which introduces the ideas and includes facts and "did you knows" The second half is the actual activities. My kids' favorites were the "blood" slime (red jelly slime that you add glitter and beads to learn about the parts of the blood and the stethoscope to listen to your lungs, heart and stomach. I have a real stethoscope and the one that came with the kit worked almost as well. The earpieces are uncomfortable for kids -- they are adult sized. Aside from that it worked amazingly well and that alone was worth the purchase price. The did not like the fingerprint activity. They have done it before so knew what to expect, but all they could get was blotches. We ended up swapping out that ink pad for one of our own which worked better. They liked the eyepatch activities and tooth things less well. My kids go to the dentist and didn't get anything out of the "draw germs with dry erase marker and erase activity" The little orange tablets you chew and then brush the plaque off would have been more fun. And the eye patch -- they've done an eye chart before. They liked the drop a coin in a cup to learn about binocular vision. So mostly great activities that my older kids were able to "run" with the younger without any problem. It actually won me about an hour of peace . . . but not all the activities were equal and a couple were things that even my 5 year old was very familiar with.In summary, a great kit which they can do again later. Really would hold it to the 5 or 6 age range, I think it is too young for older than that.

No slime included in ours
My kids enjoy the working stethoscope. They were excited to make slime “blood”, but unfortunately the slime container was almost empty and completely dried up.

Very cute!
We really like science kits. I would much prefer them doing something than watching something. Science is such an important subject, and I really like that they can learn about it.It is nice because they can spend the time doing it. They are excited when they make something themselves. They love to make new discoveries. This is a great activity for a rainy day or a day when your child is sick or when you are just stuck at home. It is a good way to keep a child busy.I thought it was age appropriate. It wasn’t too hard. The children really liked how it turned out.I feel like this is good for child development. It kept my children's interest. It would also make a nice gift.I would recommend it.

My kindergartners absolutely love the science kit!
I absolutely love this little kit and so do my kindergartners. to be honest, when we open to the box the thing they were the most excited about was the slime. I'm not even sure how that's a good thing because it has a real stethoscope in there! Anyway, it's got a great little story book that you start off reading and it leads you into the experiments. Of course they loved the slime and you added sequins and foam balls that replicated the red and white blood cells as well as platelets. Each page of experiments not only leads you through how to do it but gives you a little extra education, I love it. I don't know if many other kindergarteners know the different parts of blood but I'm excited that mine do. We listen to our hearts and learn how to find our pulse as well as did some quick exercises to see how our pulse got faster when we moved our bodies. There are quite a few different experiments to do, I believe about ten in all. There's an eye patch and a fun little toothbrushing card. I had fun drawing in germs and cavities! If you have 5-year-olds and up, this is definitely a good way to spend education time during quarantine and beyond.

Lots of learning fun, but short-lived
I ordered this hand2mind science kit "Heat to Toe the Human Body" for my 6 year old granddaughter. It was informative, factual, and really fun. It was filled with lots of amazing ways to illustrate how the human body works. By far the coolest part (according to a 6 year old) was the red slime to which you add glitter and beads to simulate blood components!! The black crayon to simulate dental cavities was also very clever. To me, the most impressive was the stethoscope, which you put together. It really worked!! My 3 year old grandson was fascinated with "checking our hearts." My complaint with this kit is that it's a "once and done." Most of the experiments and activities can only be performed one time and then either, there isn't enough material to do them again, or the thrill is gone. The exceptions are the book and the stethoscope. That being said, during this period of home schooling, I found this kit to be of value due to the fun science lessons. I just wish we could've used it more than once.

Great for home learning
It's such a different world right now, and we're finding that home learning is a great way to spend family time. This is a great set for teaching littles about the human body with fun little experiments. I highly recommend this set!

Lovely set
Upon opening this box, we were amazed how many items are included inside. My 5 year old already explored everything and he is in awe and so thrilled to be able to have what doctors use. His favorite thing so far is stethoscope but he loves the entire set. We just received product todsy, and my son can't wait to play tomorrow with it. He is so eager to learn and I love the enthusiasm he shows. We purchased this product just under te Euros and it love product with so many accessories. Its totally worth it for the little ones. I highly recommend it to anyone
