The unit does an ok job of clamping to most things but the arm is not sturdy enough to support a iPhone with a protective case. I was forced to wrap it up with black tape to hold it in place.

My phone barely fits in it and will fall out of I move the mount or touch the phone

I needed a phone holder for my deerstand and this is perfect. You can mount to nearly anything, even my hunting blind poles. Very sturdy and quiet to move around if need be. Would recommend to everyone.

This thing is pretty sweet for messing around with your phone in your treestand or ground hunting. Also accepts a go pro or similar action camera that also secures tightly.

I’m not sure what star level rating to give this but it doesn’t hold the weight of my phone very well when moving. I was hoping to use this while slow stalking but the arm sinks down when you move. Should work good for fixed position hunting.
