A friend recommended that I purchase this rub. I am going to try and attach a few pics to the review, but the smoke worked very well. The rub is a bit more coarse than I have used in the past. I was especially surprised by the thick salt. I was somewhat concerned that it might end up being too much. But I am also a huge pepper fan and loved the pepper.I put some dijon mustard on the meat and then covered it with the rub. I let it sit overnight in the fridge. The next morning I pulled it out for about an hour before placing in the smoker.Take a look at the pictures, the meat was fantastic. And the flavor was amazing. Even the next day I was able to appreciate the seasoning.

This rub is fantastic. I use it for everything, and it has improved my life in countless ways. My food all tastes better, and coincidentally I feel more confident than I have in the past. I’m sure this boost of confidence has nothing to do with the perfect blend of coarse salt and pepper in this Dalmatian rub, but I really feel like I can finally get my life together and prove to the world that I am good enough and smart enough. Food tastes better, the sun shines more, my grass is greener, and the air smells cleaner since I’ve started spinkling this rub liberally in everything I cook. Again, probably coinicidental, but the Dalmatian Rub gives me the confidence I need to take on the world.

Coarse salt and fresh ground pepper, simple and delicious. It is great on everything from brisket to burgers and everything in between.

Simple and perfect. Little too expensive

It's funny I think like most people I've been searching for that perfect flavor using numerous rubs, different flavor profiles, something to make your meat pop. As it turns out this is exactly what I was looking for, yes it's as simple as salt and pepper. This rub provides the needed salt for that pop and a nice peppery bite, all the while allowing the meat and smoke to shine.

Perfect blend of fine salt and pepper for that authentic grilling/smoking experience. Used on chicken, pork, and beef and was awesome. Next will be fish.

Exactly what it says it is with great quality! I used it to smoke meats and it is absolutely amazing. Perfect 50/50 ratio.
