I am planning to buy two of these units, will the bluetooth connection work on both at the same time? or will i only be able to use bluetooth with one

You can daisy chain the two units connecting the aux out of the first unit with a cable to the aux in of the second unit. Connect to the BT of the first unit and everything it plays will also play through the second unit

Wanting to purchase the 15" and power from my boat at times. What size inverter do I need to properly power this unit?

Depends on how much you plan to turn up the volume I think 1500 watt inverter would be enough also you might look at the ds18 brand speaker
