Loreal Excellence Hicolor Hilights Magenta 1.2 Ounce (Pack of 3)

I dye my hair black, so whenever I do a fun color my roots grow out fairly quickly. I hate having to rebleach them and tend to just let them grow out or go back to black. I tried this copper out as it said it was for dark hair.. and um.. what dark roots?!?!? My natural near black hair went full copper. I also love that it's just the color in the tube, so I can mix just a little up with some developer and not waste the whole thing in one go. I used half the tune and it was too much! So now I know I only need maybe a quarter of a tube to redo the whole front price of my hair. I still have half a tube left. Will defintiely purchase again.

It works super well. It became really bright red, I was kinda shocked at first and didn't expect it to work that well!At the middle part of my hair its a bit darker because it had been dyed black before ages ago, so probably use a color remover if you've dyed it black before, even though the black is not visible anymore.I used 20 vol. developer of a random brand, and it worked fine!

I studied the reviews and a lot of people never said what color their hair was originally or if they had grey or how often they do their roots- SO…I was sick of the nightmare- I have super straight hair and it is originally dark brown/almost black (if I dye it black people think it’s natural!) and I’ve been getting grays since I was a teenager. My hair also grows FAST, and I need to cut my bangs once a week! So one day I was feeling depressed about my hair bc I had gone to a salon just a minute before & now it was mega pink but already my usual black & white roots were coming in! In desperation I Googled Fashion Color for graying hair/ Dark hair and the first thing that popped up was THIS BRANS of reds! I like the UNNATURAL red colors (for now) but was told no permanent “fashion colors” exist by the PROS! (Oh but they DO!! Here’s one right here!) I used Magenta once that time I ordered it and now, once a week I do the roots; I read specifically that to cover grays/fade a bunch of very dark hair that you’d use 30 developer (20 if your hair iw fragile & use Age Beautiful or a brand called Silk!) and the permanent dye mix in your most obvious roots only (at the part, the sides, beneath bangs) and leave on 35 minutes. You can actually, w this color- I know they say you can’, but you can! You can open it up and use only half the color w half the recommended amt of developer (1.2 oz!) & then put the lid back on and put it in an air tight container! The next time you go to use it, it’s FINE! Shampoo your hair w Clenditioner (I got it that here too- it comes in a big variety of colors, smells amazing & gives your already amazing, head exploding color an extra POP! Everyone will ask you HOW you got your color! So I’m telling you- if you have very dark hair w some or even a LOT of grey in it (bc grey is tougher to color than black, as some people know!) THIS IS HOW! And you may not have to do it every week! I do bc I’m a freak, my hair is super straight and grows 100 miles an hour but if your hair grows more slowly- you don’t need to dye your whole head! And if you ever wondered how famous people NEVER have their roots showing? Ever? Now you know (except they don’t get their own hands or bathrooms dirty and have a team of experts following them around- I imagine!)! I will try to include a pic of my current hair but this is my first review where I’ve done that & I should have one to show you! This dye is the bees knees, people!

This really works well. You just need developer. I bought red hot and it has a tiny tube of a color intensifier in the box which I used. It's a really pretty color! I noticed the color even more after the second wash.

Best dye to use to turn black hair to red magenta without using bleach.

I decided to try this as an alternative to my usual bleach + Adore dye routine. Used it on totally fresh, natural black 4c roots as well as on my pre-lightened ends. Used 30 volume developer for about 30-40 minutes in two separate sessions. It lifted my hair a few shades and deposited a very deep, cool-toned burgundy red. Two tubes were more than enough for me, but I have fine hair.I prefer my hair a bit brighter and warmer-toned so I wasn't happy with the lift or color (probably should've gone with Copper). In normal, indoor lighting it didn't look very impressive, but it was definitely more noticeable in the sun. If you have black natural hair and are looking for a subtle change, this could be a good option for you! But if you're looking for a more dramatic lift, just bleach it bby.Damage-wise, I found this to be pretty gentle. It's still a chemical dye so my curls loosened a little bit, but it was definitely less damaging than straight bleach.Also, you're thinking about putting bleach over this dye at any point, be VERY careful. I bleached my roots recently and attempted to bleach over the dark burgundy - it hardly lifted! Make sure you let your stylist know you've used box dye if you decide to do anything professionally!pics are after TWO dying sessions, natural dyed roots on top, pre-bleached ends on bottom!

I tried to do box dye with my hair last month and the instructions said to only leave it on for 25 minutes which I did and you could barely see on my hair.I mixed the color with 30 developer until it was a yogurt like consistency and I started dying the shaft of my hair first, once I did that all over I went in to do the roots last so I wouldnt get hot roots, than I left it on for 40 minutes and washed it out with my fave shampoo 3x. I love the results! It's a bit darker in regular light but in sunlight it's beautiful!

J’ai utilisé ce produit plusieurs fois sur mes cheveux noirs vierges, et il fonctionne très bien ! En mélangeant avec de l’oxydant 30, j’ai obtenu un magnifique rouge cerise sans abîmer mes cheveux. Très contente des résultats, c’est un excellent produit !

Also, die Farbe ist der Hammer. Nach 6 Jahren "rotfrei" siehe Bild mit braunen Haaren, bis auf die hellen Spitzen, ist der Rest Naturhaar, ich sah mir dieses Produkt an, und empfand das hier für mich am entspanntesten, da ich ursprünglich aus der Elumen Ecke komme.Und tada mit dem Resultat bin ich mega super zufrieden, die Farbe geht ins rubinrot welches ich ursprünglich haben wollte, mein Unterhaar ist noch ein ticken greller (weil vor blondiert), aber so wie es jetzt ist, liebe ich es total.Für mein Haar habe ich 3 Packungen verwendet, ich bin mir nicht sicher ob 2 gereicht hätten, eher 2 1/2 und habe es mit einem 6% Entwickler angewendet.Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, kann das aber noch gerne ergänzen.Für die Zukunft werde ich bei dieser Farbe bleiben ♡Edit am 29.05.2024Derweil alles super, viele Komplimente erhalten und die Farbe ist schon etwas "schwächer", es könnte nie genug sein, für außenstehende ist es immer noch strahlend, ich finde es ist immer noch sehr arg rot, stärker wie von so einer Drogeriepackung und ich bin auch überzeugt, dass es an meinem Haar sehr viel besser als Elumen hält, bei Elumen fühlte es sich wenn es "frisch" war, wie der stand jetzt nach 21 Tagen.Gewaschen habe ich die meiste Zeit mit Lauwarmen Wasser und habe kein Spezielles Shampoo verwendet. Die Farbe blutet schon gut aus, entsprechend kann es sein, dass man zur Anfangszeit, bei Sommerlichen Temperaturen und Schweiß, etwas Pink um den Nacken wird :'D Würde helle Klamotten nicht empfehlen, wobei bei mir die Flecken zum Glück restlos sich rausgewaschen haben.

Colore vivace e copre i capelli tinti in precedenza nel mio caso avevo un rosso morto ( foto aggiunta per vedere la differenza) e la dato luce è vivacità il colore che ho acquistato è il rosa . E ho aggiunto acqua oxigenata di 40 volume perché volevo un rosso vivo . Perché non ho scelto il colore rosso? ... per avevo paura che oscuriva troppo ecco perché ho scelto il rosa e l'acqua oxigenata di 40 vol .Comunque stupendo ricompreso di sicuro!
