Dogs Placemat

These place mats are nicely colored pictures of all kinds of animals. The animals are all named on the front side of the two sided mats and the reverse side provides additional pictures and information. The mats can be drawn on with dry erase or washable markers and in my estimation are robust enough to ward off the occasional table banging by your youngster. Finally, according to the manufacturer are easily cleaned with a non-abrasive cleaner.

These are think lamination placemats that are sturdy and easy to wipe off and clean. It is exactly what I wanted from a placemat for my toddler. The pictures and scenes are great. My son points at each animal which is amazing to me that a 15 month old is looking at these and can recognize the differences. I had initially tried the silicon style but found that wiping dried food (yes it happens) was awful. These placemats can withstand a wet rag or sponge and clean up nicely. Looking to buy the other styles even though the 4-pack is plenty for the time being.

The first one arrived damaged. It’s very stiff but either the seller or Amazon bent it to fit into a box (why?!) and then it was cracked & broken & wouldn’t lay flat. The replacement was sent flat and not damaged, so that’s good. It’s cute & sturdy & fun for kids.

I actually bought this placemat to set my dog's food & water dishes on while she is eating. I like that I am able to place it in the dishwater to give it a quick washing at the end of each day. It is very sturdy & it is exactly what I was looking for!

Just received. Looks like great quality to clean after every meal. I am sure any 2 year old will welcome these during mealtime. Fun, colorful, educational, and nice bonus the back has opportunity to color the animals and learn different languages for each animal. Will need to look for washable markers. Look forward to giving this gift!

We bought this placemat for our homeschool lesson on the ocean. My 4 year old loved learning about all of the different sea creatures. The placemat is laminated with a thick laminating sheet so its pretty durable. The backside has the name of sea creatures in different languages - if my memory is correct it's English, Spanish, French and Chinese. We didn't use the backside this year as I found it to be a little too advanced for my daughter, but I'm happy that we'll be able to use it again next year and it won't just be the same lesson.

Upon a quick glance of my favorite animal, the cheetah, I discovered a few concerning errors. Firstly, the animal on the placemat (I hesitate to call it a cheetah) lacks the distinctive tear marks running from the corners of the eye to the mouth, which is a distinctive hallmark of the cheetah. Secondly, the fur pattern more closely resembles the rosettes of a leopard than the spots of a cheetah. And lastly, it’s absolutely tiny in comparison to all the other animals in the placemat. It’s some sort of spotted cat amalgamation, but I don’t consider it a cheetah. Makes me wonder, are the other animals depicted inaccurately as well? As far as the utility of the placemat goes, yeah it’s fine. Thickly laminated and easy to clean, I just wish it was more accurate.
