My dishwasher was " beeping " all the time. It's a GE profile, 6 years old. Called GE, they said this part was probably problem, they said that it was "calling ".We watched you tube videos, and put this new part in.Well no more beeping. Dishwasher is working.So I would recommend this part.Genuine GE part.I'm very happy 😊.

This is the classic issue with these control boards. You'll probably see it scattered around if you search. When you press start it does a double beep 3 times in a row and flashes the front light orange and fails to start. It will do this incessantly until you press and hold the start button to cancel. Sometimes when the dishwasher enters this state you can turn it off at the breaker for a few hours and then turn it on and it will work again, but eventually it stops working completely.I got this one as a replacement and it worked flawlessly for a few months, and then the problem started showing up again. No click on start, beep beep beep. Now it's failed within the 1 year limited warranty and I need to get a new board. Luckily, they aren't that expensive and it takes an hour or two to replace with basic tools. It's cheaper than getting a whole new dishwasher.About the 1 year limited warranty. Don't even bother trying. You'll just go in circles. You can't return it through GE (even though the link says that's how you're supposed to) because you didn't buy it through GE parts center or their 1 authorized parts seller. You can't return it through Amazon, because it directs you back to GE, so you end up going in circles. The 1 year limited warranty is a bit of a scam and has no affect. You *might* be able to force credit return through your credit card, and that's the approach I'm going to try, even though there's nowhere conceivable that I can mail the board and it'll probably cost me $15 in shipping. Is it worth the hassle for $100? *shrug*Anyway, part works, but it'll likely fail again in a year or less and you'll have to do it again. If you are not the handy type, you might pay extra to get it through an authorized repair center with a warranty.

This was the exact part I needed to fix my dishwasher. Display numbers are a different color than the original but I don’t care. As long as it works the way it’s supposed then it’s good enough for me.

Easy fix, cheaper than a repair guy.

I read a lot of reviews/blogs from people having the same exact problem: the washer beeped every half hour like it was resetting itself, eventually it sopped working completely, after switching the breaker it started working again (and periodically resetting itself), and finally it just completely stopped working. The new part was nicely packaged, good quality. It was not simple to replace, but doable by anyone with the right tools. The 7-segment LED display is white instead of green, and the cycle times are a little different, but we've been running great for a few weeks now, good as new. I hope we get another 5 years out of it.

The interface board got my dishwasher working again. It is a perfect fit. The design of the dishwasher as are all others of this type, renders the installation of the board as being difficult for a first time experience doing the work. The internet has several excellent videos on how to do the work.
