Beautiful instrument with a nice sound. Some of the higher notes are only useful when the entire drum is humming, but I attribute that to "learning how to play it".It takes a bit of work to hit the sweet spot on each tongue, but the result is an amazing resonance.Some of the tongues are bent lower than the surface from transit or manufacturing, but can be bent outward as needed by pushing from the inside with a wooden handled spatula (I didn't want to scratch it).My only complaints are that the tongue numbers came with clear plastic over them, which I thought detracted from the appearance. The plastic overlapped the tongue gaps, giving a raspy sound. Since they provided extra numbers, I picked at a few of the offending numbers with a wooden toothpick and discovered that the numbers were actually decals: remove the clear plastic and only the number remained. Wonderful, but I wish the manufacturing process did that or at least provide a note in the setup booklet. The other minor complaint is that the numbers appear to have been applied by a drunken sailor: they are all over the place on the tongues. I will likely scrape the bad ones off (with a toothpick) and reapply with the supplied extras in a more consistent manner.Finally, and maybe it is a community thing, but there really needs to be some tab sheet music. The provided songs are mostly not familiar and (the ones I recognize) are geared to a toddler audience. I play other instruments, so I have a few licks that I've managed to reproduce and build upon, but this would be tricky for a newbie. It's easy to play, but finding chords and making a good sound are tricky with what is provided.All in all though, I rate this high because of its potential with a bit of practice. It's nicely made, with a wonderfully deep sound which I find very meditative.

We are international buyers, bought this product on August. It has now arrived to our country but sadly it was an incomplete order. We received just the drum but no drum sticks, which as stated by the product description, should be included in the purchase. Would love to give a higher rating but we did not get what we asked for. Next time make sure to send out completed orders.

I was a bit sceptic buying this drum because there was no reviews. But it was delivered faster than expected and I’m absolutely in love with it. The drum sounds beautiful and deep. The bag is good quality and perfect to carry it around if I wanted. So happy with this purchase :)

3 tongues are dead. No ring. It's like hitting a big penny! I'm disappointed because this brand Ocarina all almost perfect. It's why I chose Ocarina. Now I have 3 dead tongues I can't tune.I wish I Had a better instrument?The circled tongues are bad. Just very disappointed that this particular Ocarina drum had to have so many bad tongues. And they won't tune.I'd rather have another Ocarina, but with all the tongues in time for a change.☹

This instrument is the cure for sleeplessness. Played it for an hour and slept soundly and peacefully. Easy to learn, fun and so very soothing!

This was a birthday gift for my wife, who absolutely loves it. It's very well made, comes with two playing mallets (like short xylophone batons) and a carrying case. The sound is more musical than a traditional Jamaican steel drum and a lot smaller. Highly recommended if you have someone who likes top quality musical instruments at a reasonable price.

this is the type of instrument the never blessed with any musical talent, voice, or hope of ever being blessed with such talent. should try before giving up for good. touch it softly, with the rubber clapper, it sings its own song.
