Well, it's almost a perfect fit, but the best fit I could find. The width, with a small amount of fiddling with the position of the console that the riser sits upon, is perfect. The depth is too short, but a second riser is perfect, with about an inch and a half overage on the wall side. I might be able to push the console closer to the wall for cosmetic value. I just ordered two more for the other console. I like that the risers are real wood...they will age to approximate the color of the consoles (cherry wood), or I can oil them or stain them to match.

Needed a monitor riser that would fit a large laptop underneath to clear up room on the desk. This does the trick with plenty of room for air circulation. Very well constructed and stylish, too.

Perfect size for what I needed and not too high like others. Only wish they included silicone feet or pads, the felt ones keep sliding around

Although it isn’t as long as I would have wanted it to be, I’m still satisfied. I’m using this for my makeup mirror but will soon use it for my new desktop as I’m trying to recreate Maisy Leigh’s cozy desk set up while on a budget. I would post a photo but my desk is messy at the moment.

It already came assembled and it matched my dresser perfectly for my taste. And it hid the bottom on the TV stand.

I bought this specifically to sit in the gap between my desk and the bottom of my iMac screen so it's not holding up a computer or monitor. I would NOT trust this to hold up really anything of real weight. The 'wood' is very soft and def. not worth the cost of the item (and I bought it 'as new'.) Looks cheaper in person.

This is an over-priced, cheaply made product. The wood is very light--it appears to be a balsa wood. It certainly isn't durable. Mine arrived with one end piece broken nearly off; I believe the glue didn't hold. The product looks very nice, but the material from which it is made is cheap and deceptive. It is definitely not worth the $39. There are at least two other products in this category that appear to be worth the money--the wooden stand built by loukin, and the metal stand by LIULDASHUN. I am waiting for delivery of the former.

For a "solid wood" monitor shelf I was expecting something heavier. This shelf is so light you think the box must be empty. Not sure what type of wood this is made from, but it almost feels like balsa. However, it seems like it will support the weight of a regular monitor. Also, the wood is raw (unfinished). So plan to stain and varnish this thing before use. I installed a drawer underneath for extra storage.
