Got these to use to draw a blood sample from a finger stick to then place on a test strip for the coaguchek pt/inr meter. Works wonderful. These come with the rubber stopper to push the blood out onto test strip so you get the sample where it needs to be. With the cost of these test strips you don't want to mess up too many times and would prefer not to at all. Filling these tubes up at least 3/4 of the way gets the right amount of blood and the bulb suppresses it right onto the strip. Highly recommend to use with the pt/inr meter test strips

The tubes are fragile. In doing my first 2 blood draws, 2 snapped into; so it was try, try again. There are not 15μl marks on the tubes; U don't know how high to fill the tube for 15ml. They are hard to get out of the tube, sticking to each other a bit. The hole in the black rubber squeeze bulb is unnecessary and one can forget & wonder why blood is not coming out.

It comes with a handy holder with a rubber bulb. (You don't need the bulb to draw the liquid into the pipette -- that happens all by itself via capillary action. But then to dispense the liquid put your finger over the hole in the bulb and squeeze it out.) Great for depositing chemical samples on thin layer chromatography plates.

I ordered these for my Father in law's blood draws for his INR meter, after reading another review for use for the same thing. The first couple I snapped trying to get the bulb end on the glass shaft. I felt the glass should have been thicker.
