Due to my gym shutting down, I wanted to keep up my BodyPump so I subscribed to Les Mills on demand and bought this set. It is absolutely what I wanted. The bar has a great finish on it and the weights are sturdy. I would highly recommend for working out at home.

I love the set. The barbell and plates are very nice. Quality. Perfect for body pump. I hate the clamps. I wish they used quick release collars. That would make this system so much better. The clamps slide a bit. They can be difficult to switch out the plates causing it to be too time consuming between sets. Once when taking the clamp off, it slipped out of my hand and hit me in the face. Beyond frustrated with those clamps. I ordered new collars for the barbell. BEWARE THAT THIS IS A 1.1 in BARBELL. NOT A 1" BARBELL. YOU NEED TO ORDER 30MM COLLARS WHEN REPLACING THE CLAMPS TO COLLARS. I ordered collars for a 1" barbell and it didn't fit. Other than the clamps, I love the rest of the system. I wish I could order more plates at a more reasonable cost. Overall very happy with the purchase now that I found new barbell collars.

I bought this weight set so I could do workouts at home during quarantine. I chose this set because it is literally half the price of the Les Mills version. It is slightly annoying to use the clips instead of one of the fancy locking bars, especially when the set is new and the clips are stiff. There is also a slight defect on mine that makes a little bump I have to navigate the clip over. I did notice that the weight plates move around a little on the bar when lifted quickly. But despite all of these minor inconveniences, the set does exactly what I need it to and seems sturdy. I would recommend this for a low cost option for a home weight set.

I love this weight set!!! Purchased to do Body Pump on Demand at home. The bar is just like the ones offered at my gym. They plates are WAY better. The rubber-like coating is great on my floors and the metal interior helps them slide onto the barbell with ease. Unfortunately, the metal clamps are TERRIBLE. They are super difficult to slide on the bar. The levers are small and hard to compress. It was really difficult to find the quick release clamps on Amazon so I ended up getting the 30mm ones from the Power Systems company, hopefully they arrive soon. If you have the option, purchase this set with the quick clamps, it's 100% worth the extra cost.

I use Les Mills On Demand, and have been eyeing their SmartBar for a while. Unfortunately, though, there is just no way for me to justify the cost. This barbell set, though, works great because you can hold the plates almost exactly like the SmartBar plates. This makes it great if you're doing GRIT Strength, the old GRIT plyos, GRIT Athletic, or BodyPump. The bar is solid and about the same size as the SmartBar, too. It arrived quickly, and I purchased their different clamps. I am not using the ones this set came with. I also purchased two additional ten pound weights from them. This barbell can hold pretty significant weight, which also made it a better buy than the SmartBar. That caps just shy of 100lbs. I'm glad I stumbled upon this brand. Also, their customer service is wonderful!

They are perfect for Body Pump type classes. Great value for the money. The only thing I didn't like was the spring clamps to hold the plates on the bar. With arthritic thumbs, they were WAY too hard to operate. I manage to find the slip-on collar type but hard to find for a 30mm bar. Also I wanted to add a couple plates be the company only make a 20 lb. plate for it for $120 EACH PLATE! No thanks. Besides all that I am glad I found these.

Great quality for low ticket price

The bar itself is good because it was the weight and length I was looking for. I’ll give 4 stars cause it’s very sturdy.The problem is when I attempted to place my individual weights on the end none of them would fit! The bar is too fat! I didn’t realize my old metal weights wouldn’t fit. In this time of the pandemic I’m disappointed to say the least. My fault cause I thought all bars fit all weight plates .. I’m hoping the gyms will reopen soon otherwise I’ll be on the hunt for old plastic plates? Maybe those would fit!
