They are ok. My only disappointment is the central area where the bees climb up from the hive is higher than the base. So I’ve had to trim off the excess with a Stanley knife. They are fine if your crown board has a central circular hole, not great if your crown board has the longer wider holes for Porter bee escapes, it will mean your bees will get through the gap left around the sides and into the hive roof area and probably get stuck. The plastic felt a bit brittle, so might not last a very long time. The cup doesn’t clip into place like other models do, so I’d be very careful when filling it up.

Although this rapid feeder will do the job of providing my honey bees with sugar syrup the product is described as able to hold 2 litres of sugar syrup when in fact it holds just one litre.
