Kyocera 3 Piece Pen Set, Inks, Black, Blue, and Red (KC-1)

Perfect for lefties. I always had trouble finding pens that wouldn't lock up because of the angle at which I write.Pros: The ceramic tip keeps ink writing smoothly onto paper. I had left this pen uncapped for days at a time in my office and can always start right back where I left off. Amazing writing capabilities.Cons: I wish the pen felt a tad bit more premium for the price you pay. The plastic of which this pen is made attracts oil. After handling it for a while you'll notice a slight sheen to the cap and grip. The only indicator for ink color is the tip of the pen (under the cap) and a small plastic strip on the cap. The strip falls off easily so you'll have to uncap the pen to see the color.The cons are small in comparison to just how amazingly these pens write. I have never found a surface that I could not write on. No smears, no lock-ups, no broken pens that stop writing.Definitely recommend!!Edit: (01/10/2018) I still love these pens, but I notice that the price on Amazon keeps going up. When I purchased these, a pack of 3 was $6. Now it is $16. The Kyocera website still lists them as $6.

They are great when you want the consistent flow of thin ink without bleeding through the paper. The cost of low bleed through seems to be a bit rougher feeling. My only real complaint is that they are rather ugly.

I ordered these because I read some stuff about the best pens for lefties... These were supposedly fast-drying and great for lefties. I completely disagree. They smear all over... Not a fan.I also ordered the uni-ball Jetstream fine point, and those I would highly recommend for south paws!!

I used a black ink Kyocera pen that someone gave me a couple of years ago and loved the way the ink flowed and how thin the pen was. When it finally ran out of ink, I knew I had to find another one somewhere, so I searched the internet. When I finally found this through Amazon I was so happy, but once the product arrived...not so much. First, the thin pen I had loved was now a thicker version - the same width around as any other pen. Second, while it still had the good ink flow (not clumpy or runny), it ran out of ink in what I considered a very short amount of time! Third, I only wanted the black pen, but you have to buy the set in order to get a black pen. So I have a blue one that I never use, and a red one that I only use occasionally. Even though it has the same item number as the one I had previously (I deliberately kept it so I could find it again), it is nothing like it. The company has obviously changed their manufacturing of this item and not for the better in my opinion. Because the ink ran out so quickly, I had to order another complete set, which is still pending delivery. I may end up cancelling before the order is filled...

I got these pens almost 8 months ago, and they're still writing as perfectly as the day I got them. They are the smoothest, most consistent pens I have ever used. For $6 get a set and see for yourself. Seriously, I rarely leave reviews on things I buy, but these pens have put to shame pens that cost 20x as much.

These pens are great. I opened the package, took a pen out, and Instantly. Mind blown. They are remarkably easy to write with; wherever you touch the tip down, the pens mark. They are incredibly smooth to write with; none of the issues with the tip locking up. I would buy them again in a heartbeat.

These pens are pretty good. If they made a click pen, I'd be 100% sold. A three pack of one color wouldn't make me sad. I mostly use the black pen. I love it. Shipping was great. Definitely well worth the price, even if I only use the black. I'll be buying these again!

Good feel, and colors are sharp and clean - can't find them here in Canada, so must order them on-line. I threw out all my other pens (dozens of them, all of which skip, dry out, and occupy several drawers throughout the house.
