Works perfectly for my needs
I hang my birdfeeder on a suction cup hook on my kitchen window. Although the suction works well, I appreciate that this bird feeder is relatively lightweight and therefore doesn't strain the ability of the suction cup to hold it. I also like that it comes completely apart for cleaning, something previous birdfeeders haven't done. Although I gave it 5 stars for sturdiness, I don't really know how sturdy it is. Every now and then the suction cups fail and whatever feeder is hanging falls two stories to the ground. I'm pretty sure this one would break, as the plastic it's made of is not strong and heavier ones have broken in the past. However, the fact that this feeder is relatively inexpensive is a plus in that regard, as it wouldn't cost a lot to replace it.

Economical bird feeder
For the price, I am very pleased with this feeder. The pros: Good capacity - accepts a high volume of seed. Easy to fill - the top is easy to lift, Easy to clean - since it's all plastic, it's simple to empty and clean with soap and water. The negatives - It is plastic, and the first one arrived broken in pieces. I've had this now for about a month, and is doing well. Still I consider this somewhat fragile and suspect I'll have to replace in the spring. But when I think about the price, I'm getting six months for a bargain. I needed to replace my cedar gazebo feeder, but didn't want to spend more than $50 with winter coming. So this feeder has been a pleasant surprise. I highly recommend.

cute little bird feeder
This is a nice bird feeder that looks like it costs much more. It's fairly sturdy and has been holding up well so far to the usual bird traffic as well as squirrels trying to sneak some food here and there. The bottom tray is slightly flimsy and warped but it still looks OK. Make sure to clean the feeder ASAP in case birds leave droppings on it. A small part of the roof is lightly stained because I didn't get to it in time. Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase.

Great small feeder. Perfect for tiny finches and house sparrows
You probably won't get medium and large birds to come to this feeder, but it's perfect for the little guys!I have a variety seed in it and, within one week of putting it up, have seen many small birds eating at it each morning and throughout the day. More come, daily.I bought this feeder to put outside a window so my cat could be entertained by the birds. It's been working great! I have the feeder on a very small pole that's meant for yard toys and, even though it sways a little, it has been very durable and reliable. I have not had issues with raccoons or squirrels - yet (despite the raccoons constantly meddling with trash cans in the neighborhood). No issues with bugs either. Water seems to drain well. I live in humid Florida and the plastic windows have not clouded over. It's easy to use, hang, and it looks great even at the front of the house. Doesn't look cheap even though it's plastic. This was a great purchase for the price. However, if you want something for medium and larger birds, you'd want to go for something a little bigger than this.

I like it....the birds don't!
It's a nice looking feeder, but of the 4 feeders (3 different types) I have in the back yard, this one is the least visited, least busy, and last one to empty (even when the same amount of feed is put in all 4). I use the same seed mix for all 4, all are about the same height from the ground and in the same area, I have about 10 or so regular species of birds that visit, about a half dozen that are the main species that feed, and a few additional species that occasionally visit...and as far as I can tell, it's the last choice for all of them. They will feed there, but only if the other feeders are crowded or they're bullied out of one, or if the others are empty....but unfortunately the birds prefer this one the least.

Has increased my bird watching 100 percent!!
Great little bird feeder! It is not for large birds, as it is smaller. Doves would probably not have enough room to use it, but they will try! I have the green, and it looks great in the garden. I watched 3 birds at one time on it yesterday. There is room for probably 5 small birds at a time. The lid took a few minutes to figure out how to lock it in place, but I just kept turning the lid to line it up. (Same way that you would attach a smoke detector to the ceiling. Line it up, and turn it into grooves). Very easy, but no instructions on securing the lid. I could see someone possibly struggling, to find how to get the lid locked. Just remember, it does lock, just line the grooves up right. Great value, and would definitely buy again!

pleasantly surprised
We bought this feeder to replace one that we'd had for 20 years and which had blown off its hook and broken several times. The old one was a lot more expensive than this one so I didn't have too high expectations, figured it wouldn't cost too much to replace it if it fell apart. I was very pleasantly surprised. It holds a lot, it has a tough wire cord, it seems to be squirrel-proof, it has a smaller "footprint" and didn't blow away or even lose its seeds when we had a very strong wind. Definitely exceeded my expections. I still have one worry, which is that the lid (you add seeds by unscrewing the lid) has a press-and-turn fit. I'm a bit nervous that over time of twisting in the wind it may somehow loosen and come off. However, it's just a worry and has not happened so far. Thus, so far I'm quite pleased!

Serviceable but not made for long-term use
Fairly simple product. It hangs. It holds bird feed. Birds can eat food. The plastic is thin and cheap, especially on the bottom. My first time cleaning it one of the plastic tabs broke and it now has a sag on one side. Do not expect this to last multiple seasons. I have a hummingbird feeder that goes up when it's warm and will not be using this again next fall/winter. I will pay a little more to get one that is more sturdy. So, it works as intended. Do not expect it to weather multiple seasons. Plastic tabs are an issue due to the thin plastic. Looks nice and the birds enjoy the food inside.

Great bird feeder
This is our second bird feeder of the same style. Somehow a clip broke off, but kept it and purchased another one just like it to put in another location.Unfortunately, we had to return this well made feeder due to a rodent infestation in our area. The birdseed was too good to resist, obviously. We gave it to a charity Op Shop, still in the original packaging, and hope once this problem is over, we will be once again looking for another feeder. The design was wonderful and it was always attracting small birds which was exactly what we wanted.

It's GARBAGE
When I first got this, I noticed it was irritating to try and fix the lid/roof on (and that was on my work bench), but I figured well it's here now, might as well give it a try. I put it up on a platform that I needed a small stool to reach. Filled it with seed and went to put the top back on. I tried it again and again and again, settle it on and twist to lock. Would not catch and hold. Then one of the 'feet' broke, and then the other, and that's when I lost it and smashed it with my fist. Now I'm usually a pretty laid back fellow, and it takes a lot to drive me to that. So, even if you're calmer than I, you will likely face similar frustration with this piece of garbage. My advice is, don't buy it.

how much food does this hold
it is a nice feeder but not nearly big enough. I have to fill it every day. when advertising you should tell how many cups of food they hold.
