“Oh hey, Jeff! Thanks for coming to our barbecue! I’m just throwing some steaks on the grill right now,” said no coyote ever. Why? Because coyotes, wolves, and any other distant relative of our pal, the domesticated dog, never eat anything cooked or processed. They hunt and forage for their food, then eat it sans flame. Raw Raw Chick Boom Ba contains the same type of raw, natural ingredients that dogs were meant to eat and enjoy. And you didn’t have to go crossbow hunting in the woods for it. Add water, and boom! Full meal. Be prepared to get lots of high fives. In the leg. With a tail.

Dropped a star since the price keeps going up
UPDATEI used to buy two bags of the lamb formula a month, but I will no longer be purchasing this brand after the dogs go through their last bag. In one year, this company has raised the price at least 3x, and now bags are over $75 each!Original review:Been feeding this to my dogs for about 7 months now. It is truly a good brand of dog food. One of my pups is a 90lb, 7 year old lab. The other is a 25lb, 1 yr old Boston/Chihuahua mix.Pros-one of the more affordable brands of freeze-dried raw-raw, whole ingredients-easy to mix up (I like mixing up at least a day's worth of food ahead of time)Cons-makes them poop a lot!! Maybe it’s more fibrous?-cost can add up if you have larger dogs with big appetites-it takes a while for the formula to absorb water (at least an hour). Must make ahead of time

Our dogs got SICK vomited for day and half - second time this has happened vet finds no other issues
Our three dogs eat the raw I and Love and You and we had a bag of chicken - my dog got immensely sick. I took him to the vet spent $500 and the vet couldn't find any serious illness or reason for his vomiting other than 'something he ate maybe'. We never thought a company that boasts raw healthy monitored dog food would be the culprit. So we continued to use the food. Flash forward a few months later (we mix up the beef, chicken, turkey) so this second time chicken bag and all 3 dogs get violently ill vomiting for day and half. Beside the food being sold after expiration date this is the second time dogs have gotten sick.We reached out the company and their response 'well we don't believe it could ever be our food'.So good luck folks. You've got a company that doesn't own up to the possibility and sick dogs. I'd avoid this dried raw food like the plague.Sorry I don't have pictures of them sick to drive home the statement.

best dog food ever
My dog is 9 years old and has suffered every allergy imaginable. I have tried every kind of food, grain free, dairy free.. and still she had such great hair loss, she smelled terrible and we constantly were battling ear and eye infections. Some of the foods that seemed to work well she didn't care for and I went through several of the additives and vitamin supplements. I started her on the" I and love and you" dry about three months ago and just tried the raw last month. What a huge difference this makes. She loves it and is so much better. I do the dry beef version every day and then give her a treat of the raw once a day and its a miracle. My neighbors dog has been very sick and wont eat so I shared some of this food with her- the raw version and he loves it too. Finally a food that my dog can eat without any side effects and she likes it. Thank you so much.

Sold food past sell by date. Overal great product
I was sold food that was past the sell by date. The problem was resolved. The product itself is a great product! Both my dogs love it. I do mix it with their home made food. The only problem I have with this is the amount of water you have to add to it. The best way is to make some ahead of time and leave it in the fridge overnight for it to fully absorb the water. Other than that it’s great! 8/10 recommend. 1.5 lbs makes 10 lbs and 5.5 lbs makes 36lbs. That was not stated anywhere in the description.

Puppy threw it up right away
My puppy wasn't too interested. It smelled like vegetable soup and had a lot more powder than anything else in it. I only gave her a little bit mixed with her previous kibble and some other freeze dried meat she is used to. She ate probably 1/3 of her food and then gave up. Only 5 minutes later, she threw it all up. She was fine afterwards and ate the rest of her dry kibble. I am not going to feed this stuff again, something in there made her obviously sick. She is a bit picky, but she has never thrown up her food before. I am glad she is fine now. I'd like to contact the company to see if I can get a refund and return the food, even though it's open (the big chain stores in town do take opened food back if there is an issue), but I can't find their contact info.Bottom line, I wouldn't recommend this food, doesn't look like some of the photos I've seen. Way too powdery and hardly any meat.

The Best Dog Food Ever!
I have a 14 year old Chug. (Half Pug - Half Chihuahua) His name is Mugsey. He was having old age issues, i.e. lethargic, overweight, etc., and my son convinced me to switch his diet to this food. He's been eating this food for the past several months, and the change in his energy, attitude, and weight is extraordinary. He lost all his extra weight, and is just so spunky again. Thank you for making such a fantastic food for dogs and cats. I love what it has done for my best friend.

Double in price now-raw food
My dogs have been on I am love you food raw, canned food, nude and naked essentials for about a year now as I like the variety but I am very disappointed that they doubled the price for the raw food as I was getting the smaller bag for $12-17 and now I can’t find it any cheaper than $22 and I have two large dogs and it is too expensive to feed them It anymore. I’m very upset that it isn’t affordable anymore and they raised it so much.

My dog loves it!
Our lab mix seemed to allergic to everything, she was too itchy on other dry dog food. I ended up making her meals from scratch, but was time consuming to get her all the right nutrients. This product alleviated much of that stress and she's had no horrible reactions to it like vomiting or itching like she has with other dog foods. We found that it's better to hydrate overnight, add a little warm/hot water to the already made mix to warm it up. In a pinch in only needs 15 mins to hydrate. However, waiting for it to hydrate is torture for my fur baby. She just sits and drools while she waits for the timer to go off.I found that the smaller pieces settle to the bottom of the bag, and those small pieces seem to soak up the water and make a super thick meal. So the first meals would be soupy and the last meals thick. Not that my dog cares... She eats it all but is messy when it's soupy. Now I shake it up a bit before scooping out. Also, the chart is just a guideline - my 50 lb dog became too skinny (as in ribs showing) following their chart. She needed about 50% more. She also seems to poop a lot with this formula.

My dog i would say is a bit of a ...
My dog i would say is a bit of a picky eater for a pug, shes still not use to it but she does eat her kibble more than she did before when this was mix with it.The instructions on how to rehydrate the food makes the food alittle soupy sometimes, so i just use the same cup amount i use to scoop out the food for water
