Black desk sleek and exactly what I needed! Love it
I purchased this sleek slimline black desk back in October 2022, for my bedroom, due to shortage of space, I really needed something with a lock to store my letters, notes coins etc, and have leg space to do my hrs of writing, it was perfect! Since I'm a novice to DIY I got a friend to assemble it. No problems whatsoever on my end, considering some of the feedback on the reviews I was hesitant at first to place the order im glad I made my own judgement. Reason I'm writing this review now and not back then is Is because I broke the lock accidentally and contacted the company for a replacement lock to which a really helpful chap Aqdas kindly offered to send a replacement ASAP free of charge!

It's a desk, does what I bought it for, nothing special, but practical

Not the best
Some of the screws were rusted, instructions for drawer runners not very clear for a novice like myself, some of the boards were chipped at corners. Screws to put drawers together would not grip at all. I bought two for my grandchildren. Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend

The lock on top drawer doesn’t fit in the hole.
So the lock that is meant to go though the top drawer is wayyyy to big to fit in the hole. Now it looks stupid as the top drawer has a hole though it.The parts were also mark wrong ( numbers on the parts ).

In the words of Catherine tates Nan. What a piece of ****
Was going to send it back but company only offer under£5to cover the cost of returning and it would cost way more even if it wasn't to heavy to take to the post office as the chat robot suggested. I'm not sure how much it would cost to return but if it came to more then the amount offered it means your out of pocket. Now I would have left a picture but it was such a bad quality desk with such cheap wood that I won't. The desk looks just like the picture but it came damaged and didn't notice one bit had a crack at the bottom which was right near a hole so when I put in the locking nut the wood cracked and chipped the top layer off reveling what I can only describe as cardboard looking chip board. I didn't count the screws and so many were missing that I bodged it with my make do ones from home which were not exactly the right size. Ended up with the white plastic caps over the front 1 draw to cover the mistakes and this was after filling and glueing the broken chip board. The one nice thing is it looks great except my white studs and love the locking draw idea but sadly I doubt it will last 5 minutes. The draws fit badly and had to glue and fill gaps the wood round pegs arnt long enough and it's a terrible construction method. Shame as I think with a little easyer and less complicated fit together design and bit better wood it could be very nice desk that I bought to use as a dressing table. The only reason I didn't buy their dressing table is I loved the locking draw. I would only give the 1 star for looks and multi use capacity. Oh and it is a 2 man job one to understand the instructions one to pix it and another to hold it together to stop it falling apart whilst other is screwing it together.

Bits missing and panels incorrectly labelled. Nightmare instructions.
Sturdy enough - arrived quick - missing parts - very difficult to assemble.

Perfect for the job in the top floor of an old three storey house up very steep stairs
This small reasonably priced desk in the top floor of an old three storey house up very steep stairs, was perfect for the job. Definitely a two man lift as desk top is only 15mm thick and as it has a drawer cabinet on one side to move this one handed may put too much strain on the top, even though it has a back board. This 'two man lift' is clearly stated in instructions, which makes common sense. I had the benefit of managing to carry it up the stairs in packaging before putting together, as in all honesty to carry this post build has its downfalls. It could be dismantled, but chipboard dismantling and rebuilding does come with risk. Yet the price of this product reflects this. It may last years, provided it is moved around the room by two persons, but I have no regrets in buying this product for my home office, upon which I type this review.
