Does NOT fit a 99 Beetle!!! Don't waste your money!!!
Upon arriving they looked great!!! But then installing them is where the problem happens. They look similar to the original tail lights but the sockets for the bulbs are not in the same spot as the original tail lights so when trying to put them in the sockets hit the inside frame of the car and would not go in all the way. Don't waste your time or money. Free shipping was great but you have to pay to ship them back even though its there fault. :/ I liked them too :(

Once in they do look good.
Lens arrived packaged well. The fit was not as snug as the factory lens but for about half the price I'm ok with that. Once in they do look good.

was not to hard to change out except had to play around with the one on pass side do to hitting the stuff at the gas spot .. did not come with a gasket old will not work. I bought some black silicone and put around it ..

Looks good, sits weird.
I bought these from another site because after ordering from Amazon they messaged a week later saying they were actually out of stock. As for the same brand ones I bought from CariD: They look super sleek and allow light to shine brighter. Unfortunately they sit weird in the housing and they don't come with new gaskets. They didn't account for spacing of components inside the chassis on the passenger side tail light housing.
