Is this the same quality as Guttermann thread bought in Britush shops?
The thread seems slightly finer than that on spools i have bought in this country. The spool is yellow as opposed to grey on British spools. I used it to complete a quilt and had no problems using it on my sewing machine.

Poor quality
Not sure if this is genuine Gutermann thread. It keeps snapping while sewing and once you snip off your sewing piece the thread left on the needle coils up into a spiral.

Not cotton it's polyester.
I ordered this item because it said they were 100% cotton and I wanted to be eco freindly but when they arrived they turned out to be 100% polyester. The description is completely wrong.
