Melamine Dinnerware Set - 12 Pcs Dinner Dishes Set for 4, Indoor and Outdoor Use, Dishwasher Safe, Break-resistant (Golden-Grain)

Bought these dishes for use in the RV and they'll be fine for that purpose. The bowls are good size which was important to me, for chili and soup as well as salad and cereal... some sets have really small bowls. I like the coupe shape with curved up rims, preventing spills. It's a generally nice looking design. The not-so-good points are 1) one small plate has bubbles in the finish, and 2) they are shades of brown that approximate gold, not a metallic gold. The color is not really an issue for me since these are essentially for camping, but other people might not be happy about that. The bubbles in the finish are more a concern, because over time I'm sure they will scrape off and could end up in the food, as well as causing the design to peel. Fortunately there are only two of us so I'll put that plate aside and only use it occasionally if needed. Overall you get what you pay for and this set is good for the purpose I needed it for.

I bought these for dinner parties on the lanai. I was looking for sets that had an upscale look without being gaudy. The colors and design in this set are beautiful! I was worried because I read other reviews about it being gaudy, but in my opinion, the colors are very pretty and the design has a “stone” feel.I recommend.

I gave it four stars since I haven't used them yet. I love the colors, didn't realized you could not use them in the microwave, I decided to keep them, it's a nice set

I have used a lot of melamine cooking products in the past. Compared to many similar products you often find the in the market, this one feels much more solid and the finish is much smoother.I really appreciate the art work as well. I can tell that the maker puts in a lot of thoughts. It is subtle and yet very well done. The plates sets feel elegant and are the perfect size for dinners. I am really happy with my purchase!

Love them. Only thing is that the bowls are smaller than I expected. But overall, I love the design and the durability.
