It’s best to start with an analog watch for a child.
Nice little watch, pretty and small. I had previously purchased my granddaughter a digital watch and soon learned that, although she can easily read it, it did not work well for “Learning to Tell Time”. Yes, she can more easily read a digital watch (it’s just numbers), than an analog but that isn’t as much help as you would think. True, she can always tell me what time it is, but the problem is that simply reading some digits off the watch doesn’t teach her anything about how long an interval is. If I asked her a “Now and Later” question like “how long before your dance class starts”, I can see her her confusion as she tried to calculate the interval between “Now and Then”.Believe it or not, that’s a really hard question for a child who only has a digital watch to work with. Too many numbers, hours, seconds and minutes, numbers always changing even as she looks at them makes it really hard to understand. Seeing her problem I purchased this pretty little analog watch for her and took away the digital. She wasn’t happy for a while, didn’t understand the hands vs digits so it took about a week of working her through what, why and how time passes and the advantage of “Close enough” with a quick glance that analog gives you. She only had to learn what the Hour and Minute hands did (and to ignore the second hand) and she was soon able to give me a quick and reasonably close answer to a “How Long Until” question, an answer she was never able come up with using her digital watch. As to the watch itself, it’s cute, engaging and seems very reliable. I’m not particularly fond of the plastic band, the spacing between the holes isn’t quite right for her and feels a bit sticky, but it’s dirt cheap, has a good and accurate movement and the band, no worse that the one on her digital, can be replaced. I think it will serve her well over time as she has been asked by many her age and even some adult women, who thought it was “unbearably cute”, where she got it and how much was it.This is her favorite watch now, she doesn’t use the digital at all saying that its too confusing. She could always tell exactly the “Time now”, on it but never figure out the “how long” part. On the analog she only had to see where the hands were pointing and that made the “how long” much easier.

Muy bonito , pero muy pequeño para la edad de mi nieto que ya tiene 13 años , lo aconsejo para niños de entre 5 y 7 años

Battery DEAD in less than 2 months
I am very disappointed with this watch. It was delivered to my on June 5 and today, July 28, the battery is already DEAD in less than 2 months! I should be able to return this watch for a new one but the return window has already closed. Very upset, will not be purchasing again.

Resolution to problem
I purchased this watch for my daughters 10th birthday. She wore it all summer and has a nice tan line from it. We love this product however the band is no longer white. It started yellowing after a month of use and now is torn and no longer is usable. The q&a section states that the watch does not support changing the bands. Where does this leave me now? I can’t just throw It away or be expected to purchase a new one just for the band. The seller seems to respond to the posts which means they care so I am hoping we can get this resolved. She has missed keeping an eye out for Lunch time and recess on her watch. ☺️

Fast service + Good condition
The watch arrived quickly, with Prime shipping. It was in good condition- the battery is still going. The seller seems helpful, though we didn't need any.I'm pleased with the way the watch band doesn't stick out, like when you have a plastic band. My daughter finds it comfortable and often has to be reminded to take it off at bedtime.

Our granddaughter LOVES it!
Do you remember how hard it was to learn to tell time? This is the perfect watch for a child just learning read a non-digital clock!

Inexpensive first watch
My kid wears the watch everyday. Colors are nice and bright; numbers are easy to read. Inexpensive first watch. Our only complaint is the rotating dial on the face of the watch is too loose and doesn’t stay in place. Overall satisfied with purchase.
