I was looking for a lift recliner for my wife to assist her with standing and sitting due to mobility issues related to Parkinsons. After much looking (she wanted cloth and I wanted quality and affordability) I chose the Catnapper Burns. It took about 7-10 days to get it. When the chair arrived, the carrier brought it to my garage and left it. I unpacked the chair and brought it in through the front door with no issues. After positioning it and hooking it up, I check all functions and it worked flawlwssly. Now for the real test; the wife. She came and sat in it and though comfortable, the chari's depth was too long for her to get into it good. It's a big chair and would work perfect for thise that are 5'10 or taller, but not for someone who is 5'2". I donlt remember the website saying that the depth was as long as it is, but I needed it a little wider than the last chair which was 19" so I settled for this one which was 23" across the seat from inside the arm to inside the other arm. So to make a long story short, here's a summary of my experience;1. If you do not choose white glove delivery where they will set it up in your house your better have a couple of strong guys. The chair is 137 lbs not to mention wrestling it out of the big box and pallet it comes on.2. The color in the picture is lighter than the actual color of the chair. The chair is more a darker brown thaqn the sand color depicted.3. If you are a shorter person that is less than 5"4", find a chair with a shorter depth; this one is long and meant for a taller person.4. the rating is at 450 lbs which is good, but it comes at a price both in weight and cost5. This chari will lay flat, but does not offer a Tredelenburg position where your feet will be elevated above your heart. If you need that, then look for that position specifically.All in all I rated it 4 stars and would have given it a 5 if the chair was not so deep fron the front of the seat to the back. I guess I'll need to find another for her and I'll keep this one for myself.
