I love the perfect fine lines I get with these pens ! They do require maintenance though with cleaning before refilling to keep them in perfect working order.

Disappointing: no ink included.
I expected this to come with ink (similar pens often do, e.g. the Koh-i-Noor Rapidosketch line of pens come in a box with a bottle of ink). It did not come with ink, and now I'm going to have to order some. It would have been helpful to note the lack of ink in the description, or else to provide an image of the pen in its actual packaging (without ink) so that it was clear what was and wasn't included, rather than just images of the pen itself. Still giving it 4 stars since in other respects it was fine and was delivered on time.

Not What It Used To Be! Be careful!!!
I am a professional illustrator who purchased one of these pens around six years ago, and it has served me well. I recently decided to buy another one; I received it today, only to find a severe issue with quality control. There are spots of rust on the metal clip of the pen! The name "Rapidograph" printed on the pen's side is poorly printed, appearing as though someone started to scratch off its print with a fine needle. The size number printed on top of the pen, 00/.30, is off-center. Seeing that I spent $30 plus dollars on this pen, this is genuinely unacceptable. I can not express how frankly disappointed and frustrated I am with this purchase after having such high hopes for past quality. I am in the process of returning this pen. Look for another brand. This quality is genuinely disappointing.

Great pen!
I have used Rapidiographs for more than thirty years and love them! They are durable and easy to care for. It’s a great pen that will last many years (as long as you take care of them)…I totally recommended them for the artist in your life.
