Received and placed around outdoors cable today. It was purchased to cover a 10m cable and the difference between the two was only a matter of centimetres. Fitting the conduit over the cable by pushing a pen along the slot and feeding the cable immediately behind it was easy and the conduit closed tightly afterwards. I don't think this provides much protection against impact and I expect it would shatter if it were trodden on, but hopefully this will protect the wire inside from UV deterioration for some years.

Covers existing cable and adds protection

Received the wire, I have purchased it for my steamer as the old protection hose has come off the steam pipe - so not exactly the normal purpose but it has stated thermal resistance so no reason why not. It feels like cheap plastic but it clipped on the steam pipe after some wrangling and looks to be fit for purpose.

Useful on cable protection where you can’t feed cable through a solid conduit due to non removable plugs etc on the end of the cable. It can be a bit fiddly springing the cut channeling apart to feed the cable inside as it tries to spring shut as you are doing it but once you get the knack it’s fine and it closes up tight once all the cable has been fed inside.

Great product, fiddly to put on but easy once you get the knack, and the difficulty results in a pretty sealed unit. I bought it to protect cables against my rabbit but it didn't work! I might try double layering with the bigger size
