Needed an extender that has the grounded shield, to work in tandem with inline ethernet surge protectors and a shielded outdoor Cat6 run. The surge protectors were a little too bulky to plug directly into my switches. These worked perfectly.

I used one of these to give me a short extension for an amateur radio microphone cable. It was a unique situation and it worked perfectly.

I needed a few extra inches for my cable to reach a printer and this did the trick!

The adjustable frame uses an RJ-45 connector for the controller. This product allows you to extend the length of that controller.

These are nice cables and work great, However, the insulation on the strain relief surrounding the plug is too wide to work on side by side sockets. For example, the back of a router as shown in the second picture. These cables are just too wide to be inserted into these sockets. I ended up having to trim off the rubber on both sides of the plugs where there was an adjacent socket. See the first picture. Luckily these cables will not be subjected to much movement so the loss of strain relief will not be an issue in my application.

I just bought an FT-891 and the mic plugs in behind the faceplate. I found it inconvenient to remove the head to plug it in or take it out. I simply use this and leave it plugged in all of the time. When I need to use the mic, I plug it in to the end of the extension cable. Came in a packet of 2, so one is being used and the other is a spare.

I have found this network cable M/F extension type very useful for many years and this is as good as any others I've used. Use of such M/F extension cables was recommended to me a long time ago as a way of avoiding having to fiddle around the back of a desktop PC in situ if ever I needed to disconnect the network cabling.It also saves, potential, wear and tear on the PC's network socket(s) too. The same thing applies to many other types of cabling as well but particularly headphone/speakers.A simple M/F extension cable like this costs a few pounds. If you damage it there's no problem, buy another. But just imagine if you accidentally damage the PC motherboards LAN socket or one of the headphone/speaker sockets - how much would that cost you to fix?Whatever the cable type as long as the M/F extension is well made and, in the case of network cables, preferably, shielded it will not affect the speed or cause any other problems. You won't even notice its there until you need it, so it makes sense to use one.

Sono degli ottimi cavi ben robusti e precisi fanno quello che promettono. Sono riuscito a prolungare l uscita ethernet della mia TV che praticamente si trova sul retro Ed è irraggiungibile.Consigliato!
