I've had my Cullman tripod for over 20 years. I was surprised when this plate arrived. The OEM plate required that I use a coin to tighten down the plate. The Cullman plate I ordered is unique. It has a self-tightening 'loop' on the backside, so I don't have to use a coin to tighten the tripod mount down. It's a first-class adapter plate. If you have an 'early '90's' Cullman compact tripod this is the adapter plate you need.

I bought this to replace the original plate that came with my Cullmann 2910 back in 1986. Nothing wrong with the original plate except it lacks the springy post that this one has, which seems to stabilize my heavy DSLR camera better. It's all metal, and has a nice thumbscrew on the bottom, making it very easy to screw this thing to my camera. No need for a coin or screwdriver to snug it up. Again, my original plate did not have one of these either.

fit the tripod but still a liitle gap that need to be filled to hold the camera side ways

I got the tripod at a yard sale and it was missing this piece but I knew that up front. I saw where people were talking about it fitting but was not snug. I did not have that problem with mine. It fit snug and is working great. Hard piece to find but this place took care of me.

I thought I had ordered the right Cullmann plate. Researched online for the right plate for my tripod head. Hours and hours.Finally found a site. Said that this one was the one. It fits, tight tight on my specific cullmann tripod head. It's workable, but not the one I use everyday. It works. Just not perfect.

I need an extra QR 42mm x 42mm plate for my tripod ball head so I can interchange quickly between my LX100 and iPhone. This works perfectly. Product quality appears to be solid.

It made an old 25 year old tripod useful again. Half the price would have been better, but I'm really not complaining.

Passt perfekt in mein Nanomax 260 und sogar in das alte, aber stabile Video 3200 - was enorm praktisch ist, da ich das Original nicht mehr habe.Für das Video 3200 gab bzw. gibt es auch größere. Für richtig große, schwere (Film)kameras würde ich vielleicht eher sowas nehmen. Aber für die mittelgroße DSLR (Nikon D750 in meinem Fall) mit "normalen" Objektiven (hier maximal Telezoom 70 - 200) taugt die Schnellkupplungsplatte einwandfrei!
