Small PolyBrite Dog Collar (Red/black , 12-16 in.)

This is my third polybrite collar on 2 dogs. One dog died. The other collar has lasted for years. The LED mechanism is durable but do not take it out of its sheath for cleaning. I could not get it back in. Therefore when this collar gets dirty I will hold the LED mechanism while hand washing the collar. The collar itself is wider than average which I like very much. Like nylon carpeting it never wears out just gradually looks worse and worse until you replace it.

The ring where you connect the leash (shown in the photo) is only sewn on the main collar. My dog saw a squirrel and made a sudden and quick pull on the leash and ripped the ring completely off the main collar. My dog is a 50lb English Setter.

We have to take our dogs out to do their business every day and often times I end up taking them out in the dark of early morning or late night. These collars are great. They slow people down as they pass us (mostly wondering what is glowing) and are visible from pretty far away. Only complaint is that the switch on the collar is very small so it can sometimes be hard to get it to the right spot (whether its full on, off or flashing). Overall--think this is a great product.

This is a great product but I got one that does not work. I emailed the person I bought it from and they were really nice about it and said they would send me another one. That was 2 weeks ago and I have never heard from them again. I sent an e-mail and did not get a reply. Will not do business with these people again.. I feel like I threw away my money. I have nothing to show for it but a collar that does not work.
