MSPECMen's Boxer Briefs 3D-Crotch Tatsulon-alpha Deodorant MS2-4753

I bought a pair of these underpants to see if they would help an elder uncle, who consulted with me on two issues affecting him. One was scrotal sagging; though it is a normal change with aging, thigh rubbing produces bothersome chaffing in his case. The other was stress urinary incontinence, secondary to his surgical treatment of prostate cancer, causing minor leaks; he wears loose boxers, and even the widest male urinary pads not always provide an effective protection.1. I selected these boxer briefs since their separate pouch should avoid scrotal chaffe, and would limit displacements of the target area of pads coverage (thus allowing the use of a smaller size pad inside the pouch). My uncle called me a few days after receiving them -- though the boxers could benefit from a higher rise on the back, he was delighted by how comfortable they were, and by being able to use a less bulky and smaller but fully effective pad in the pouch.2. A further reason for my selection was that --as it is not uncommon with underwear, socks and bedding in Japan-- the fabric of these boxers is made of fibers with antibacterial and odor-resistant capabilities, which are wash-proof and long lasting. The fabric is a knit fraise (a rib knit that stretches in the horizontal direction) of Tatsulon-alpha yarn of 57% polyester and 43% cotton.3. There is a paucity of Web information on Tatsulon-alpha and the nature of its treatment, which is not a post-processing one, but integral to the yarn's manufacture. What I found suggests it is another application of biobased fibers using a mix of PHBV and PLA microbial copolymers (part of the polyhydroxyalkanoates [PHA] family of polyesters produced in nature by certain microorganisms) that is melt spinned and then mixed with cotton, yielding yarns endowed with durable intrinsic anti-bacterial capability, resistance to moisture and odor barrier properties, which keep the fabric self-sanitized. These biobased polymers are safe for people, and among the more promising materials for biomedical use; also, unlike petroleum-based plastics, are biodegradable and biocompatible, and can be synthesized from renewable sources.4. Their drop shipping delivery originates from a storage point in Kentucky and they are sent via USPS. Sold by the designer's company, the price in US-Amazon is nearly the same as in Japan-Amazon (¥2,650, amzn.to/34OiZJ6); a slightly less expensive Mspec model of boxers with non-biobased fabric is available here . The price per unit is quite more expensive than that of most other brands of pouched boxers, whose pouches did not seem to me, at least in their images, as well designed for separation as this one. I may buy a pair for me out of curiosity about their comfort, but their price is too high to buy a bunch of them for my style of start washing only if no clean ones are left. Those with the issues of my relative likely have a diffent perspective on price/benefit ratio.5. The manufacture and care tag in Japanese (displayed in the attached image my uncle sent me to translate it) indicates a body of 53% polyester and 47% cotton, and an elastic waist of 83% nylon, 11% polyurethane and 6% polyester. They can be machine washed in cold or lukewarm water up to 104°F [40°C], but air dried in shade to protect the bio-plastic from UV rays, and not machine dried -- no chlorine beach or dry cleaning. Also, though not specified in the tag, do not iron.--

Really didn't like the fit of them. I will not buy thern again

Comfortable, but legs still ride up and just like every other brand out there that has pouches to separate your parts, the pouches are too high. Some parts hang low and the pouches are a little too high. Make them lower and they would be perfect.

Really like this product! Plenty of room for the boys. The only thing that would make it better would be the weight of the material be a little heavier weight! It is not bad, but could be a little stronger.

履き心地抜群これしか履きたくありません。

私は太腿が太く、股の蒸れが気になっていましたが、こちらを履いてからは、蒸れがまったく気にならなくなりました。フイット感がとても良く最高ですよ。商品説明の適合サイズですと、私はLLなのですが、以前１枚試しに購入して履いてみた所、生地が伸びてくるとダブついてくるのが気になり、今回はワンサイズ小さいＬにしました。何度か履いて伸びてきた頃に丁度良い密着感でとても良いです。

夏場の使用でこの生地感は蒸れたりベタつかず、ぶらぶら感も良くて脱いだ時に改めて陰嚢の存在に気づくくらい気にならない快適使用感でした。ロングタイプがあるといいなと思います。
