Fiskars Solid Hedge Shears HS21, Bush and Hedge Trimming, Length 59cm

These hedge shears are very solid for £15. They have thick, sharp steel blades. My blades had a little surface rust on them, which was easily removed with a small piece of wet n dry paper and I then sprayed a thin film of 3in1 oil on both sides of the blade to keep air off the blades to stop rusting. The handles didn't slip in my bare hands when using them. How much they hurt your arms from recoil depends on how hard you are snapping them together! The nut that holds both blades together is a large nyloc nut, which is inelegant but effective. The blades were sharp when they arrived and I had no issues with these for cutting small hedges on my property. They don't show the small branch notch on the blade on Amazon's photos, which is an excellent detail for cutting branches that are approx 6mm in diameter. These are solid and well made. Can't go wrong with fiskars. I haven't tried these on grass, I have dedicated grass snips for that purpose. Also there is no gap between the blades.

Always like fiskers products I had an old pair or fiskers shears that were 10+ years old and I had no idea how bad I needed a new one u til I picked this up it cuts hedging and grass like a dream compared to my old beaten up ones, grip length allows for good control when cutting and they do not extend, a good weight without making your arms ache and hope they will last just as long as my old one

These are light and effective shears. The only downside is that there is no spring to cushion the handles when you bring them together, just two rubber stoppers which don't give much cushioning. But the shears are good and sharp.

They are a little more expensive than some others but we’ll worth it they are very sharp and well made.

Don't waste your money on budget brands. I did - and, after the purchase of this Fiskars hedge shears, I understood why it's worth paying double the price compared to a Forge Steel for example. I use this hedge shears for shape finishes and I like it for the nice clean cuts. It's lightweight, well balanced and makes the work easier.

These Fiskars Solid Hedge Shears HS21 are excellent everyday hedge and bush trimmers. The hardened steel blades arrive ready to use and deliver clean, precise cuts on typical hedge growth and smaller branches without crushing the stems. The soft-touch grips feel secure and comfortable, and the overall balance makes them easy to control for shaping and general trimming. I’ve used them on several medium-sized hedges and they make the job noticeably less tiring than cheaper shears I’ve owned. Build quality is solid and they feel like they’ll last for years with basic care. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is that after a long session on thicker, denser growth they can feel a bit heavy, and they’re clearly better suited for regular maintenance than heavy-duty clearing of woody stems. For most home gardeners, though, they’re a great choice—reliable, effective, and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Super eficaces y ligeras en cuanto al peso. Muy ágiles de usar y muy buen corte. Incluso corta ramas de jazmín secas de 1cms de espesor.
